So I was at my overpriced Men's Salon yesterday getting my haircut (it's manly because they give me a beer when I walk in) and my regular stylist was lecturing me on the utilization of Head & Shoulders as my shampoo.

Naturally, she wants me to buy whatever stuff they have because it makes them money, but Im wondering if anybody notices a difference when using a "higher tier" class of shampoo.

I'm going to give myself a manicure whilst I wait for your replies.

Pussies.

luckily i didn't use it on my pecs and abs

What's "upper tier"?

The most expensive shit I bought was Nioxin. It's not crazy expensive and it works well. Most of that shit is just a gimmick.

hmm..my head is shaved, but yes, shampoos do make a huge difference. :artist:

Nioxin is something like $30 for the shampoo and conditioner. I turned my girlfriend onto it and she likes it better than her girly stuff.

How come? What difference do you notice?

Im drinking a beer right now, by the way. And I have sports on in the background.

Uh....yea....me too.....

For one it's supposed to reduce the amount of DHT in the scalp, which can never be a bad thing.

My girl likes it because it makes her hair shiny (being manly I don't notice this) and she also said it stopped her scalp from itching so much when the weather gets dry. More so than head & shoulders.

Ah, good stuff.

Someone just scored a home run. Thats football, right?

Before I shaved my head, i'd use cheap stuff sometimes, and i'd get flakies ( I know gross). But when i happened to use the good chit I never had the problem. Stay away from Pantene.

my company is coming out with some badass shit next year for guys

i'll fill you in when i'm allowed :)

lol @ paying for anything you use in the shower lllolololol

by metrosexual you mean fags?

Metrosexual is a neologism generally applied to heterosexual men with a strong concern for their appearance, or whose lifestyles display attributes stereotypically seen among gay men.

:)

Dude, I'm a metrosexual. And no it's not against my religion. Allow me to spare you the time to think about it.

I blend nioxin with 2% nizoral
and shampoo about every third day

I did just drop an unintended $800 at the doctos`s spa
botox and a bunch of face products I later found on the net for half what she charged me
at least having spent that kind of money I`ll use them
btw the products are `Glytone`

I really wasn`t asked and before I know it I`m laying down getting botox
and boxes of products
if they work I`ll buy them online t the dermastore

I also today had some test cream arrive via UPS
but it says oral use
350mg per plastic syringe
what`s this shit?

it`s supposed to be some kind of spray, but it`s a cream and it comes loaded n syringe type applicators
my inurance better cover this
the ticket on it was another $240

my test came back high 7.75 on a scale of 2-8
but my free test was low
I had just finished about 3 bottles of unleashed about 10 days ago (concurrent with myogenX)

I like doing stuff smart and cost effective

I argue now why expend all the effort and resources to maintain a quality physique
yet allow your face to deteriorate?

btw I`m 45
so it`s time
a year ago it was bar soap for everything

then I started buying all the walmart equate products for grooming
thus paying about 50% for the exact formula`s as the name brands
being a guy I dont care
plus sometimes you get lucky and run across decent looking gals in the cosmetic aisles
even at walmart

and you can ask about stuff being naive about it all

Dude, that's great. I go to spas as well. I"ve had frickin business manicures before important business conferences done. No shame in that. Taking care of your body does not only mean going to the gym. I'm good looking and there aint nothing bad in flaunting it.

I dont flaunt
I actually hide
dont go out much

I want to look good for a spouse and have a nice physique because I think it adds to the female sexual experience
they like to squeeze parts when you`re screwing them
and run their hands around
thin waists and tight muscles

I do have a somewhat public job and better looking people reflect positively on the business
they`re more likely to remember you

in a town of 40-50 thousand I`m probably in the top 20 most recognizable people
I`m not really comfortable with it entirely

Bro, if you have it flaunt it.
