could any of you guys give recommendations for bench shirts & squat/deadlift suits? How do you know what to buy? What modifications should you get? At what strength levels do you switch from single to double?

thanx

I am new to equipment myself. I am still in the process of deciding on a squat/deadlift suit.

I was very happy with my purchase of the Inzer EHPHD single poly bench shirt. Saw immediate results.

this is the reason i asked about the different level. there are a few of us planning on competing perhaps later this year. we are all new to this but train westside style.

a couple maxes (all raw of course)

female lifter
bench - 110
squat - 220
deadlift - 275

male
bench - 275
squat - 400
deadlift - 450

Start out with single ply gear until you get used to it.The gear will put you in a different groove. As far as the bench shirt,i get 50-60lbs out of my double ply inzer poly.I like the crain squat suits, they give more hip and glute support.Let me know if you need any lifting gear,i have extra for sale.....freakyhams
