Is there a max amount of protien that your body can absorb during one meal? I want to make sure I have my protien intake spread out enought, so that I am not getting too much in one meal (more then my body can use)
It's hard to say as several factors play into this such as: genetics, exercise, size, metabolism, etc. I don't have a HARD figure, but depending on what you do, 60-70g seems reasonable. Unfortunately, I do not have any studies handy
Thanks all for you help, I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't haveing any protien "go to waste" so to speak. A good rule of thumb for grams of protien per meal is what I was looking for.
