hey , i'm going into a power lifting competition soon , and i want to know what you guys think of my max lifts . right now i'm 17 , weigh 151 lbs. i bench 265 , squat 450 and dead 425 . how do you think i will do in the competition , and how are my lifts for my age and weight. I'[ve been training now for 3 months. thx!

Those lifts for your age and weight class are pretty damn inpressive, you'll kick ass!!

Shit, I just noticed you've only been training for 3 months, that's even more impressive. It took me years before I could hit lifts like that, you should clean up as long as you can hit them in competition form

Find it hard to believe that you're banging out 3x bodyweight SQUATS in only 3 months of training. Basically I'm saying that some part of your story is full of shit. Good luck at the contest though!

Either you are lying or you have amazing natural strength. If you are telling the truth, than God gave you what you need to be great. Train hard and smart and you will be breaking records all over the place.

Who cares how you will place. Your first several competitions are more of a learning experience than anything else. You would not expect to win the World Cup after three months of training, so go into your first meet and learn all you can. Get advice from better lifters, most PL'ers are very approachable.

If you have never entered a meet before, see if you can get in contact with someone before the meet to go over the rules and judge your form.

What passes in the gym rarely passes on the plaform.
