Give me about 2-3 years and i'll be pushing that kind of weight on the leg press...as far as i am concerned leg press lifts aren;t all that impressive...personally someone squatting 500pds for reps is much more impressive...

Ditto, I used to work with 30 plates on my working sets (my best squat is 505 X5 to give you a true ratio of leg press to squat strength in a given individual), I recall reading that Markus actually can handle much more weight, but on leg press focuses on slow controlled reps, and does like 8 sets.

Go figure...Body tosses in another "Well, that's pretty good, but I haveeeeeee......" blah, blah, blah.........Just .02, you're beginning to irritate the hell out of many..........don't shoot the messanger....just tone down the egotism...........

No, I'm saying the guy can handle alot more than that, but choses to go very slow and controlled, and does many sets, opting for volume rather than intensity. Why is it egotism to just say "I've done X." It isn't like I've said I'm as strong as the guy. Fuck, I don't have an ego at all. I have no idea where you guys get this. I don't happen to think much of my accomplishments to be honest with you, nor do I consider them to be that impressive, so I'm really not certain how ego factors into the equasion.

As previous posts of mine have stated: perhaps a major factor in why alot of guys are not lifting heavier weights is the fact that they have a mental hangup that lifting certain weights is impressive or difficult for a guy their size/weight, and if they just realized it isn't, they may find they are stronger than they realized. Most of what goes on the the weightroom is mental.
