i dont think there is any problem with puting the fire to the bong post workout.just dont start i was gonna go to the gym but then i got HIGH then i got HIGH. ;)
 
Great for appetite as long as u dont overload on junk. If u have had a bad day on the food ( too little) great to get in those xtra cals at night
 
Excellent for appetite. Just keep it in moderation. I've been overdoing it lately and am trying to reduce to just a couple of j's in the evening. :)

People will think im crazy but the best bud I ever smoked was in British Columbia, Canada. Some guy was selling some home grown shit. One of the cleanest highs I ever had. I bought a branch from him , it looked like he was carrying shrubbery with him for like 40$ CAD

As far as taking it to kill the pain, I disagree, its something personal but, I feel its very easy to pick up an addiction that way. I wont even take aspirin cause I feel like I build my threshhold for pain if I just deal with it.

Ive read in a couple of places, I think it might have been posts here, that it is catabolic. But then again Arnold smoked and he was a monster, so how catabolic can it be...

That shouldn't be a surprise, BC bud is known to be the best in the world, recently taking the top spot from amsterdam. I hope you didn't pay $40.00 for an 8th though, $25.00 is a fair price.
 
It was definately more than 1/8 , but Ill tell you this, that night being so far away from home, we were just happy to score anything. I remember going up to every llittle punk skateboarder kid trying to score. Finally ran into this Japanese guy that hooked us up and invited us to a party in a nearby village ( Squamish ). Dude, Canadians are friendly as hell. Only run in I had with a Canadian , was a French Canadian, and after I fought him, his friends bought me shots because they knew their friend was acting like an ass...

pot good eh, I have VERY GOOD weed. BC is the shit, I use a vaporizer when I smoke (at night before last meal and bed) so as not to fuck with my lungs. Smoking joints and bowls can interfere with your lung capacity after awhile of continuos use.
 
I must be the only one that likes to smoke a bowl before my workout. I get so focused in that state. I'm too stoned to think about anything other than my lift/workout.
 
never before workouts bc i become lazy as shit...but after workouts or dinner i love smokin a blunt. relaxes you like crazy but i never thought it killed any pain.

You are not the only one ... I love smoking a joint before the gym ... Definetly gets me in the zone ....

Then once in the gym ... Pumping Iron quotes are said to increase motivation further. ;)

Couple things...Northern Canada has some of the best bud in the world so you are not crazy...if those it is not legal it is canada largest export to the US.

Second I totlaly agree with you on the pain thing. I think much of it is pyschological and you can develop a very strong tolerance.
 
Years ago, one of the many MANY government-sponsored anti-maryjane commercials said that smoking pot along with hard work would increase your chances of a heart attack. (Al the more reason to NOT believe it)

That commercial didn't air long - I suppose it was in conflict with the comercials that said you wouldn't be capable of hard work after smoking pot *S*

I I have read studies... they say the perceived intensity of the workout is enhanced greatly if a *LITTLE* buzz is on before the workout.

I would guess if you're a responsible adult, its no problem before OR after. But stick to the water bong... THC is fat-soluable and the impurities you dont want is water-sol...

Not that I actually USE the stuff. I'm just sayin what I HEAR *G*
 
I love it after a workout. Or when I wake up. Or in the middle of the day. Or before bed. Or....


Jk, I don't toke that much anymore. I don't thinks it's bad as long as you aint skipping shit to get stoned like workouts, healthy meals, etc.

Yeah, I work out high sometimes and really enjoy it. My concentration is better and I FEEL my muscles so much more. My strength, though, is certainly reduced when high (the higher, the less strength).
 
^^yeah whats with that? 2 things can happen when working out high:

1. You get one of the best workouts of your life, and go like a maniac, doing dropset after dropset, going well beyond the training ability of a normal human.

2. "Why is this so hard, I'm going to 7-11 for chips and a slurpee, and mini donuts, and cake, and ice cream...."

i dont get how smoking week is good for you....dont your muscles need oxygen..and arent you cutting allot of it off by smoking weed or anything...i mean dont get me wrong...i blaze up every now and again..but i was always under the impression that your cutting off allot of the oxygen flow to your muscles..especially when cycling and working out hard..

what are you doing? puffing a blunt while your lifting weights?

sure it reduces your oxygen, when you inhale the smoke.

a couple hits a day isn't going to deprive your muscles of their oxygen.
