You can be a rocket scientist or a brain surgeon, but if you don't have the right communication skills with your kids, or you fail to instill the proper morals in them(as yours obviously failed to do), simply put: you suck as a parent. Maybe you're a model citizen that contributes to society for pennies? But you can still suck as a parent if you can't keep your kids hands out of the cookie jar. Kids should not be held 100% responsible either. Their brain hasn't fully developed to make rational decisions in their younger years-so why is it up to the government to do what most parents are incapable of, or too lazy to do?

Curiosity??? LMFAO! Isn't that what killed the cat??? Duh!

I say leave it up to the parents. In 20 years the kids with lame parents will have killed themselves off and the overall IQ's of our entire nation will rise a few points as a result.

The HS kids of today are going to do it with or without the info. My oldest son (9th) grade has conversations with his wrestling/football teammates
daily about AAS. My son knows about growth plates and AAS. My son is
already quite large (Fresh 6'3" and 220). People think that he is ON because of his size. We will start lifting (WNPF and USAPL) sometime this year. He is CLEAN and I hope that he will stay that way for a long time! I think that open honesty about gear with kids will help prevent AAS use or at least abuse! I personally know of kids that were ON and are now crashing because
of lack of PCT. KNOWLEDGE IS THE KEY!

You guys are a bunch of tit sucking mama's boys that can't accept the fact that your parent's moronic genetic traits were passed on to you.

I think I read about the "moron" gene finally being isolated on MSN.com a week ago.

At least you took the time to explain what the ramifications of steroid use are to your son. Most parents are too busy struggling to make their over extended mortgage payment and luxury SUV payments to worry about their kids using drugs or AS. That's why they try to pass the responsibility on to the schools so they have someone else to blame for their sub-par parenting skills. Look at the Columbine Massacre-you didn't see those parents accepting responsibility for shit. Last I heard a kid in high school couldn't legally purchase a Tek 9. Fuck, I couldn't spend $20 without my parents knowing where the $20 was spent or where I got it in the 1st place. I still got away with some things, but at least it taught me how to cover my tracks so I didn't wind up in jail for something stupid as an adult.

Christ, the younger generation is even brainwashed into defending their parents and their apathy towards raising their kids to be responsible for their own actions.

I honestly have seen some of the strongest guys natty. I t really comes down to a steady routine, consistantcy, and genetics. I was in the bst shape of my life natty. education for young kids is key.....then it their decision. besides we put young ladies on the pill very early. and most male enhacement products these days have all the same ingredients as soon to be banned pefromance enhancing drugs.....just a whacked case of the aas being the flavor of the month. while the real probs are being overlooked.

great posts and def some good variation in views, that all say the same thing in the end!!

A bill was passed in Texas on Tuesday to test all high school athletes for Steroids. Weigh in on the poll and leave your opinion please. Personally I think its good and safe for the kid in high school athletics.

Heres the link:

While the intent is good, and we certainly don't want minors using AAS, the tax burden placed on the citizens and the individual choice (all of ours' illegal) to engage in substance is reserved for the citizens. What if this expands into compulsory testing for all college kids from alcohol breath tests to urinalysis for marijuana on Mondays. What if it applies to all federal government workers?

The highway to hell is paved with good intentions. Certainly the federal government, a punitive body, should not engage in fishing expeditions with America's youth. It sends the wrong message "we do not trust you as citizens" to individuals developing their sense of where they belong in a society, and it obliterates the idea of due process.

The seems like an AMORAL requirement, initiated, in response like everything else, to a vocal minority unconcerned with degenerating your rights'.

The federal or statement government does not belogn in our bedroom and it certainly does not belong in your bathroom stall.
