Mailbox Package

Heres a question.
What if a package was ordered that should have showed up 2 months ago wasnt here. The source says that the sender never has any problems but will resend it anyway. Lets say another month goes by and it still doesn't show up....neither does a customs letter. This package should always be delivered to a mailbox so if it comes to a door you would know theres a problem right there, right?

Also what would make it just not show up period?
and if it did show up this late, in the mailbox, should there be great cause for concern?

It's always possible that packages can get "lost in the mail." But generally packages that are seriously delayed and are known to contain illegal substances should be a GREAT cause of concern for the recipient, if it were to arrive at a later date. There is always the possibility that it was never sent or sent to an incorrect address.
