i'm with austin... EA fanboys as he calls them, will not budge... but the only reason is because of the closed mindedness...
i LOVED EA sports games... until college football this year... i got it and thought "dang, they made my controller shake and made it harder for me to call plays"... AND THAT WAS IT!!! the ball bounces like a superball... the players are choppy and blocky and ugly... so i paid 20 bucks and got NFL 2K5... the best 20 bucks ever spent... and to reassure me, i wasted 60 dollars today on madden....
again, i always LOVED madden... last years madden was pretty good... actually, it was just like this years madden without the hit stick and the formation change.... other than that------- i could have changed the rosters by hand and had the same game for the most part...
ESPN if you hit someone you know it.. they react like you hit them in the legs if you go low... or if you hit them high they may get the best of you and run your ass over... if you hit them with two people, they are stopped... JUST LIKE IT SHOULD BE... but in madden when you bring in a 2nd guy on a tackle, that guy just kinda bounces off him... NO PHYSICS AT ALL!!!
i can ramble... i know i know, you maddenites will not sway..... good for you.
madden does have espn in a few things... online set up (lobby) is better and far easier to find a game... and i like the defensive playbooks (even though espn has DIFFERENT PLAYS FOR DIFFERENT TEAMS, the way it should be).
