This is going to be the game of the year....Coming out August 12..

Who's into Madden?

I'm picking mine up in 2 hours. Reserved early with GameStop and even though they are officially giving it out at 8 p.m. tonight, i have a friend who is hooking me up.

I can't fucking wait. Madden is the shit!!!

I must say, that the new Madden is the shit. One cool new upgrade is the way the WR breaks off his route in the end based on the defensive coverage.

Game play feels great and individual player movement is great.

ESPN 2k is terrible..

I just got madden yesterday and have been run over online already 0-3..

I disconnected everygame..lol

the game is great..online is so real, you have to follow real rules our you get a lot of penalties..

one thing i hate is i fumbled 3 times already on punt returns.. call fair catch early or get nailed and fumble almost every time.

basically he is a madden fanboy. I sell video games, out of the 50 or so people who have given me feedback that are NOT a madden fanboy and not an espn one either, they all prefered ESPN

i played espn 2004 and it sucked, 2005 cant be that much better.

you sound angry i dont like your shitty game!

your sounding like an espn fanboy.

Anyway i got my 1st win 1-3 online.

Im not even much of a sports player, die harrd Vikings fan but lol just get annoyed from all week dealing with Madded Fanboys

I have ESPN 2k5 and the Collection's Edition of Madden 2005. The extras make Madden 2005 Collector's Editionthe best football game out there to me. ESPN has the better graphics but Madden has better gameplay. ESPN is kinda sluggish but both are nice games.

i'm with austin... EA fanboys as he calls them, will not budge... but the only reason is because of the closed mindedness...

i LOVED EA sports games... until college football this year... i got it and thought "dang, they made my controller shake and made it harder for me to call plays"... AND THAT WAS IT!!! the ball bounces like a superball... the players are choppy and blocky and ugly... so i paid 20 bucks and got NFL 2K5... the best 20 bucks ever spent... and to reassure me, i wasted 60 dollars today on madden....

again, i always LOVED madden... last years madden was pretty good... actually, it was just like this years madden without the hit stick and the formation change.... other than that------- i could have changed the rosters by hand and had the same game for the most part...

ESPN if you hit someone you know it.. they react like you hit them in the legs if you go low... or if you hit them high they may get the best of you and run your ass over... if you hit them with two people, they are stopped... JUST LIKE IT SHOULD BE... but in madden when you bring in a 2nd guy on a tackle, that guy just kinda bounces off him... NO PHYSICS AT ALL!!!

i can ramble... i know i know, you maddenites will not sway..... good for you.

madden does have espn in a few things... online set up (lobby) is better and far easier to find a game... and i like the defensive playbooks (even though espn has DIFFERENT PLAYS FOR DIFFERENT TEAMS, the way it should be).
