Lymes cycle log

Log update:

Been a strange couple weeks. After my last update I took 4 days off gym. My plan was to test if I was more sore or less sore after break. This entire time dealing with lymes shoulder/hip soreness, there was a slight chance that it was due to overtraining. After 2 days off I was WAY more sore, and that caused me to take extra 2 days off. It was very hard to walk or do anything with my arms. Leading me to believe it’s definitely the lymes/PMR causing my pain and not muscle soreness from overtraining. I’m not scheduled with specialist until November, but the treatment for PMR is simply prednisone. (Could be anywhere from 3 months to 3 years) I was able to get my hands on some prednisone to self medicate until I see my specialist. I know there’s many concerns with prednisone but I’m being very careful and on half of the lowest dose. (10mg EOD) since then, I have zero pain and have had tremendous workouts. Even able to lightly train shoulders and legs today. This is the first time in months and first time since adding test, I’m able to train pain free so it’s very exciting. Started fasted am cardio and pm weights today.

I have a couple physically demanding jobs to provide for my family so right now being pain free is very important to me, but I will continue to regulate prednisone at below the lowest dose until I see the specialist. Hopefully they can see me sooner…

Thanks guys! Diet was very good before the mini break, that’s when I splurged on steak and chicken, still no carbs. I’m up 10 lbs, hoping to use the next 5 weeks to cut back down. (Is like to finish up and stay at 180ish) Shake in am and pm, unlimited fruits and veggies and nuts during week. Clean proteins for one meal on weekends.

Now without the shoulder/hip pain my workouts are amazing! Plenty of strength and energy. Have to force myself not to overdue it! But I can push harder with cardio too so that will help tighten things up.

Not easy man but you are hanging in there. Lots of guys would just say fuck it and stop training. Stay positive.

I’m glad I started the cycle because that kept me motivated. The Initial recommendation is to rest. I think that’s why so many people become bedridden and deal with years after years of symptoms

Week 8 updates:

Feeling so strong from test. Too strong sometimes, so still forcing myself to take it easy. I’ll show up for morning fasted cardio but can’t help to squeeze in some reps. (Sometimes motivated by spandex) Then after work I get a burst of energy and hit the weights again. Lifting way heavier and more volume then normal, I’m still very conscious of not training shoulders. I’ve had zero soreness since starting low dose prednisone. I run out of them on Monday so we will see if the soreness comes on suddenly Tuesday morning, it will explain a lot!

I’ve never started test while being in top shape with lower body fat, so I feel like I’m experiencing maximum effects from it. (Minus all the lymes bullshit) really looking forward to knocking this lymes disaster out. Then I’ll run a proper primo/test/deca/winny cycle next spring.

I’m gearing more towards a modified carnivore diet though. Started experimenting with raw meat (properly prepared) so I’m still consuming unlimited fruits and veggies and nuts during the day, my one meal for dinner will be some sort of raw meat. It’s still a work in progress but I think it’s helping my strength and stamina in the gym, especially with little to no carbs. If nothing else it’s filling, so I’m never really hungry even though I don’t eat much at all. I do know that I’ll never go back to eating much carbs. I’ve yet to experience anything positive from eating any type of bread.

please do NOT eat raw meat hommie

just at least sear the meat both sides
you just got of lymes, and the worst thing you can do is get parasites thats going to be real bad

medium or rare steak is fine
pork FULLY cooked (worms)
chicked fully cooked (salmonella etc)
sushi can be raw

lets get carnivore but cooked hommie humans invented fire for it
 
You’re all right, it’s probably a bad idea to introduce any bacteria to my system. Sometimes I feel like I’m safer eating raw meat at home then anything I can order out. Or shoving fast food or pizza down my throat. Most salmonella is caused from poor preparation. Then whatever is left over usually gets cooked off. I’ve been reading that if you know your source, that’s the number one criteria. The process is to Slice your meat thin, freeze for two weeks, then mix with lemon or lime juice before consuming. The freezing kills 90% of any contaminates. The lime kills anything remaining. I’m not diving in head first though, going to slowly introduce to test the process. But I probably will sear on both sides for thicker cuts. Had some raw roast beef with lime juice yesterday and feel like I can run a marathon today.

You're getting the meat from someone too

and when you say freezing kills 90% you mean flash freezing not just freezing, in that way everyone would eat raw pork ;) lol not happening
and if lime kills 10% of the hardest bacteria hospitals would use lime not hardcore bleach

trust me hommie dont eat raw meat, rare/medium is fine but not full raw
 
Most of the meat I’m buying is rare not raw, so I feel a little safer about the process. If anything is raw I’m searing slightly in both sides. Feeling very good and high strength and energy with current diet.

Curious about acne. This is the most test I’ve taken and first real side effect, I have moderate acne on mid back region. Not too much on shoulders but it’s a dude effect I like to avoid in the future. Does adding winny or any of the drying agents help with acne or is it just a lower test dose needed?

i found winstrol causes acne for me but anavar was fine but you gotta try it for yourself

lower test add a clean oral

and do the diet that works for you imo

I’m up about 10 lbs but will cut atleast 5 of it during PCT. That’s usually when I have my most energy and best results. I loved the 500 test but not happy about the acne side effects, so my next cycle will be lower test with deca or primo (or both) with a light oral to keep somewhat dry. And I like to carry for 16-20 weeks not 10. Coming out of this with less pain and decent beach bod, I’m calling it a victory! But most important is having energy to get through busy days. Thank you all so much for your support, I don’t tell anyone about the cycles so it’s nice to have some people who support and give honest opinions!
