Lurker coming out from the Shadow...

The fact that you haven't been able to do cardio is actually to your benefit. But you do need to be more consistent w/the training. The more mass you have the higher your metabolism will be at all times as more muscle = more mass that needs calories to burn. Try like the dickenz to fit the cardio even if it is 20 minutes 3 x's per week to start. Your diet though is the most important factor. Put in ONE CHEAT during the week and do cut back on your comp carbs after 4PM, that is unless you will be working through the night. Then cut them back several hours before bedtime. You will see a change, I guarantee you.

In case you didn't already know the best sources of slow burning comp carbs are - oatmeal, brown rice and yam. Serving size? 1 cup for oameal and brown rice for the yam, one that is just about the size of your fist! :)

Keep at it and you will get where it is that YOU want to be.

Thanks, I'll check the shoes out... and for saying tall women are hot! :qt:

I actually did get in a cardio workout yesterday on the step mill. Cardio can just be a little bit boring. It's the dang abs are not defined as much as I'd like, and my legs are a little... hum...

As for carbs, I love oatmeal with just some cinnamon on it; I've already started to organize my meal timing more. Thanks so much!
