What are you eating that's so high sodium right now?
Do you use alot of salt?
Eat alot of processed foods?

Well I was mostly curious. I tend to hold A LOT (5-10 pounds) of water at a time. I drink lots of water during the day, but I think cutting sodium down would help maintain a lower water weight.

I mean, canned tuna has salt, ketchup and most condiments as well. Breakfast... eggs have tons, correct? Also, I want to keep carbs relatively low as well because they also bloat me. This leads me to my question.

For cutting I'd clean out the condiments and maybe go a more fresh route... i.e. fresh chicken, not frozen

DO you use splenda? I have been hearing from my comp girls it's bloating them so they are cutting it out... I also just got a tip that cinnamon has natural diuretic properties so you can flavor things with that.

As for a diet I cannot specifically say here this is low sodium, Id just stay away from additives, preservatives, condiments, some frozen pre packed meats, choose 'unsalted/raw' walnuts/almonds, if you feel eggs make you bloat b/c the sodium then not sure what to tell you there....

Wanted to get back to you b4 I took off to the gym... be back later..

ms. dash...........salt substitutes.........more herbs and spicy seasonings........also dandelion root does a nice job for decreasing water retention

Indeed, and apparently eggs have less sodium than I thought... no more cold cuts though :worried:

Watch the D-root though as well if you start using that this summer... as Shadow says, every day is a kidney day... I will be running that pre comp. Let me know if you decie to try it this summer.

PF, I bet cutting those coldcuts out will make a difference :)
