Ok, I have decided it's got to go. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'm between a 7 and an 8. It's heavily on my chest and legs, moderatly on my back. Not too much on my arms.
The reason it needs to go is:
1) It takes me forever to towel off after a shower. I shower 2x or more aday, and I can't ever seem to get dry, esp on the back.
2) I'm starting to swim competitively and I know there is a drag coefficient.
3) I already sweat much more than the average person, and I know this hair on my body doesn't help. It keeps my body temps up. Apparently for every degree you are over 60 F, you loose a second on your mile. I don't want to be at a disadvantage.
4) I'd really like to see my mucle development.
5) I'm sure the ladies at the track are tired of looking at my hairy back pass them by.
So how do I do it, relatively inexpensively? Nair? Go to someplace and get it waxed? I don't have a huge amount of cash, and I'm sure that with almost any solution it's going to be coming back pretty quickly. I'm the kind of guy who has a 5 oclock shadow around noon and I need to shave 2-3 times each morning to look clean cut.
Any suggestions?

I agree, waxing may cost more , but in the long run it's well worth the price. Where I live, I can do my whole body ( full legs, butt, back, chest, and crotch) for around $250
