Any other baseball players have a hard time bulking in-season. I lift legs heavy, but I can't lift my upper body heavy or it will mess with my swing and throwing, at least thats what I heard. I guess I get to train legs hard til the season is over

Bulking has to be done in the off season. All the running in practice and game play is counter productive if you are trying to bulk in season. Think about how much cardio you are doing along with your lifting. Too much for most people. You may however be the exception. In the case that you'rte not;
I would definitely think about going into a sport specific maintenance program. Your trainer/strength coach could surely show you. Work the rotators with bands frequently as warm ups as well. Mixing the bands in this way can help keep you strong.

There are a number of places on the internet that have sports specific programs. I've seen quite a few for baseball. Basically what I've done before during season is a maintenance program, if that makes sense. Much like Polish said, bulking up comes before spring training. Once the season rolls around, you're trying to maintain what you have. Continue to do exercises like deadlifts, squats, triceps kickbacks, front lat raises, bench press (I'd do more dbell press),rows, dips, pulldowns, preacher and concentration curls. For batting I'd do anything that helps your hips because you could always use that strengthening during the season (plus your power comes from your hips). Side twists, side raises, things of that sort. Things of that nature. You can mix it up however you need. Sorry if I told you stuff you already knew.

Hey bro! I played college baseball for 3 years at a division II school in Arkansas. I was a pitcher, but I was the biggest guy on the team. I lifted hard and heavy during the season, I couldn't help it. I will warn you that you will need to make sure you maintain your flexibility, especially in your rotator cuff. If you do decide to still try to bulk, put in your time with stretching. Stand as if you are trying to make your body look like a "T" (with your arms out to your sides) and then (bend only at the elbow) lift your hand up to where your fingers are pointing at the sky, while keeping your elbow even with your shoulder. Have somebody stabilize your elbow and have them push your hand straight back behind you until you feel a good stretch. Do this for about 30-45 seconds every day. It will make a huge difference in keeping your arm loose. Hope that didn't confuse you too much. Good luck!
