when i first started lifting i made the common mistake of not lifting my legs, now about 3 or more years later i have been lifting htem for about 1 1/2 years, but they havent grown much, and my upper body is much bigger and unsymetrical. i just got done wuith a 6 wk break from legs b/c of a partially torn PCL due to ice hockey, im looking for some routines you can offer or tips to help me. BTW i am 17, 5'7" 170 lbs and average strength at legs 285 X 10 squats but they are only about 20", so plz give mea ll the tips u can.
right now this is what i have planned: to be done once a week
squats: 4 X 6-10 (reverse pyramid, start with heaviest weight work down)
leg press: 2 X 10, 6
hack squat: 2 X 8-10
SLDL: 2 X 8- 10 (i used to only do lying leg curls)
lying leg curls: 3 X 6-10
for calves im trying the poliquin calves routine
any thoughts, ideas appreciated, BTW the last thing i was doing was 3X5 for squats for about 3 months and made great progression in strength but that halted, but none in size
