Leg presses

How do you guys keep your feet from moving at all while doing leg presses? No matter how hard I try, My feet seem to move, even while warming up as the weight gets heavier.

I dont understand, what do you mean by they move? They slide forward on the plate or what? If your feet are slipping, see if you can get the gym to put something on the push platform.

if you mean sliding up or down on the platform..thats very dangerous , they should stay in one place...but if you mean your heels just coming up a little off the platform , that happens to me when sometimes too

Yes there should be griptape (sandpaper with a sticky back side) where your feet go to ensure that they stay put.

I mean...

My feet don't stay in one place, they slide on the platform, sometimes the tips of my feet may slide inward so they are pointing towards each other instead of straight up like they are in the starting position. What bothers me most is that because of feet moving, my knees obviously don't stay in one position. Since I started my cycle, I've been using more weight on the leg press and I don't wanna run into problems.

If you can't do the exercise right, you need to back off the weight and concentrate on your form. Also, check the seat adjustment, as far as the angle on the part you are reclining on. Try different adjustments and find what is most comfortable for you.

That's dangerous. You can injure yourself bad. Get them to put some grip tape on the press plate. Or stop working out in your grass cutting shoes. ;)
