To be a mr. Olympia I guess he knows pretty much what he is talking about, i'm about to start following his diet , anyone here has done it before? any reviews about it please thanks.

I like the general principles of his diet - whole foods, high protein, no processed carbohydrates or sugars but nutrition has come a long way since his time. We have now learnt the optimal way to build muscle and loose fat is by not eating the same amount of calories everyday but rather to carb cycle. This keeps your metabolism reving and ensures excess calories dont get stored as fat.

Here is an article I wrote on how to set up a carb cycling diet: http://www.evolutionary.org/cycling-carbohydrates

It follows all the same general principles as Lee Haney's diet, just with a slightly more modern approach.

His diet plan is rather exceptional, and it is definitely a good idea to do something similar. However, you should never forget about individual traits when repeating what the celebrity bodybuilders do - somethings may work for them, and not for you. Therefore, they are a good guideline, but you should never forget about what fits best precisely for you.
