I'm going for my pro card this coming summer. I weigh 245 @ 7-8% BF. I had some intern at my gym measure my BF with calipers and that's what it read. However, I disregard what calipers say, I go by what the mirror says, and the mirror is telling me I should be training to obtain my pro card because I got it. I will post pictures of my back and wheels later. My guns are 20.5 (cold), and everything else ties in right. Hence, I will enter a show this coming July. I'll be 250 @ 4% BF. I will be ready and I know I can win..

My physique is complete and I'm big and tight enough. I'm going to post more pictures. I'm actually going to put more weight on and simultaneously lose BF. That sounds like a paradox to people on steroid boards because there is a lot of steroid mythology being peddled on these boards. Be careful to what you take in here, I only been back on a day and I am ready to vomit already. There is tons of misinformation on these boards. Will they ever learn??

Anyway, I worked with a pro BB and a couple National competitors this past summer and they were in agreement that I got what it takes to get my pro card. Consequently, I am going for it this summer. I always contemplated about it but never really thought it was worth the time and effort. But those guys and some other people talked me into it, hence, I will be ready!! The only thing is that I might have to hit the Junior Nationals again, I did years ago and qualified for the nationals. I don't know the statue of limits on how long your qualification lasts. But whatever, I have nothing but time..

Bro, I never said anything about gaining muscle and losing weight. I said, I will gain muscle and weight and simultaneously lose BF, that is the paradox I was talking about. People think you have to lose weight to get ripped, that is a total fallacy. I always diet up and tweak, manipulate, and adjust things in order to keep putting on muscle and at the same time get harder and harder..

There is something called diuretics that enable one to eat a lot of calories and shed fat because it drains water from the body, which in return shrinks the fat cells..Then I up my protein intake because we all know (or should know) that protein builds muscle, also diuretics enables one to eat more carbs because there is minimal water to retain the extra carbs as fat. There is so much to this. Time will fail me to really get into it. Drop me a PM if you want me to go into great detail.

There is something called the Law of Diminishing Returns, which means the more you do something the less of yield you return. Hence, I make it my business not to touch roids for a extended period of time, and when I get off I take 2 months off from the gym to let my body rest, it works like a charm..

As for the reps, they pay the bills, so you have to figure things out for yourself through trial and error..

You might.. You look like you have the potential and the right attitude. I love BB. I was brought up in a boxing enviroment. My father was a boxer and he trained my brother and I to box when we were very young. I boxed for years and did well, but I hated it for some reason. When I was in the marines we would go to the gym and work out, that is when I fell in love with BB. Every since I dedicated myself to weight training. I remember meeting Dennis Newman and he was nice enough to talk to us, I was fascinated with his physique. He inspired me to engage in weight training. He was awesome, after talking to Newman I got hooked! They will probably have to wheel me out of the gym on a meat wagon. lol..

I got hooked in a weight training class at school. Ever since then ive been in the gym 6-7 days a week. For a year and a half or so. I love it.
 
Damn! That dude is in great shape. I can't wait to compete on that stage. I know if I dont succeed in bodybuiling I can in powerlifting. But I would much rather body build.


I thought he would have won at least 3-4 Mr.Os if he didn't get leukemia. I think he got it right after the Nationals, that ended his BB career. What a shame!


If you want to BB then do it. You are young enough to develope a nice foundation without drugs, which is the best way to go because you keep your gains. Moreover, you have time through trial and error to find out what "works for you," and not what works for other people. That is the key. When you win the Olympia don't forget about us lowly civil servants. :)

Thank you for the compliment. Yeah, there are not many of us our age around who are in good condition. Hell, there are not many people who are in their 20s who look as good as us.

Let's see. First question. How long have I been cycling? Well, I would venture to say off and on since 1993, after I was discharged from the Marines. I excelled quickly, so I decided to compete and did real well. By the time I was in my late 20s I was a National Competitor (no lie). Then I got engaged, and she didn't want me to pursue a career in BB, hence, I stopped using gear and went into the teaching field (yuck).

I suppose I will tell you the truth, this is the net and I am basically over it. My fiancee ended up getting killed in a car accident in 2003, and I was totally devastated, so BB was the furthest thing from my mind. Then about a year later I met my second fiancee and she didn't care whether or not if I competed, but I was not feeling it. Anyway, I broke off that engagement in 2007, and then I just got the urge to start training again, and you know one thing leads to the another. Consequently, I started the sauce again. Keep in mind I went 8 years without touching a roid.


Second question. How many cycles have I done? Wow, that is an excellent question to ask and ponder on. I can't really give you an accurate number. Guesstimating, at least 40-50, that's off the top of my head. When I was in my 20s, I would stay on all year (lol), I think I went 3 years without getting off... That's when we had that good gear like UpJohn and that Para that was made in France. Oh, did I love that para, it literally changed your body composition in a few weeks.

When I made my comeback in 2007 I limited myself to one 12-16 week cycle a year until 2010. I been out-of-control since. I been clean since August. But next week I'm about to start an 8 month monster cycle.. Katy bar the door!

Lock up your daughter, lock up your wife, lock up your back door and run for your life!!! lololo

Everything is going well, and thank you for the greeting. I hope all is well with you, brotha. Yeah, I have a lot of ideas, schemes, and info I can lay on you. I been confiding with a biologist the past 4 months, she turned me on to some nasty tricks. I call her "nasty girl." I actually personally know I pro, who I confide with too, I really do, PM if you want his name...


The strategy of dieting down is BB mythology and it is not ideal for people who want to be big and hard. First, roids cause hypertrophy, which enlarges muscle cells, so one is not really benefiting and getting optimal results when dieting down on roids. The express reason to use roids is to build muscle, not lose muscle. I always hear, "well, when I diet on roids it retains my muscle," that is true to a degree. However, you are still going to lose muscle tissue, it is a biological certainty, and during the process you always look depleted, and are weak.. The main objective is to create new tissue, not lose it..

Consequently, the pros and National competitors always diet up. They just shoot lasix and take in a ton of protein and carbs. Then they just tweak, manipulate, and adjust things as they go. There is no set protocol, you change things according to how you: feel, look, etc..

Heck, the one guy I know eats a few pizzas a week when he is getting ready for a show. Lol.. during his prep, he told me he ate fast food three times in a week, that's because he shoots lasix.. Water pills shrink fat cells, however, I am not encouraging anyone to take any form of a water pill, I want to make that loud and clear. WPs can be dangerous and should be used by advanced BBs.. Nevertheless, WPs and T3 cycled correctly give one room to eat a ton of calories and pack on muscle and at the same time shed fat and get harder than a nail.

if your taking that 2 mos off doesnt your strength plummit? no push ups, sit ups, pull ups, cardio, nothing just rest??! im assuming through diet is how your maintaining the physiqe?

I totally believe in taking time off the gym, that is when the muscles grow and recover as we all know, but it is also the hardest thing for us to do...I don't know about all of you but it takes a lot of discipline to keep from lifting weights, just like it takes it to stick with a program. Led, you have intrigued me already...I am 42 years young, the cycle I am currently on is the first since 2007, been natty for past 5 years, but am ready to kill it for next 7 months and get to my best for this next competition. I have my whole family behind me, my wife is too training with me again to really motivate me...getting to where you need to be stage ready takes being selfish, and I am not a selfish person, so I have a tendency to feel guilty for taking time away from my family when getting ready, so my wife acknowledges this and pushes me herself, and we will train a few days a week together so she can be a part of the process which in turn helps me focus more...she is my biggest fan next to my little girl. I am fucking ready to take it to the next level, just getting through some personal family hell at moment (which is why I have been absent from here lately), so looking forward to discussing shop with you Led, I am always looking to build relationships with bros at a level above me to learn from...so lets get this fucking show started!!!

I take 2 months off every year to give my body a rest. It works like a charm. When I come back i grow like a weed and I'm stronger then ever. I actually eat whatever I want when i'm not in the gym, for the pyschology aspect of thinking I am depriving myself, or missing out on something. Once the two months is up, that garbage is out of me, and I am like a fuckin' machine. I don't stop for nothing for months. I get totally locked in, and I don't care about what is going outside my training regimen..

Oh, thank you for the K, and yeah, it was tough to deal with.

I'm I the same boat... Minus the age not taking a stab lol. I'm 29. Got my girlfriend and 5 year old, and haven't been to the gym in damn near two mos. I feel bad working all day then taking my son who's been in school all day and sticking him in daycare for two hours. My girl is a stay at home mom so she gets to the gym in the morn and pushes me to go at 5 when I get out. But two mos of doing nothingggg I'm getting the itch again and have a cycle I wanna run in feb. tbol kick start, test e, proviron, and finish up with var... I need to get my body back in shape. I feel weak. Bf is ok but I know my strength is down along with endurance.
Anyway back to the matter at hand, time off... I took my two mos, your saying dont feel guilty and just hop back in that I accidentally did what I was supposed to do? Or only after cycles? I ran a botched first cycle a good 8 mos ago and now have finally recovered fully, but never stopped until two mos ago and have been training hard for the past 3 yrs. 6 days a week 1-2 hours ea time.
My diet is non existent but a buddy put together a lean bulking diet for me. I can't stand bloat and currently am about 6 ft 185lbs 13%bf. I was at 11% but these two mos killed me.
I'm all over here

From all the steroid use in your 20's, did u have to go on trt at an early age or where u able to recover from those cycles and live a normal healthy life during ur relationships

Music to my ears bro...and yes my wife is my everything! Thanks for the compliments, and yes I have gained 20lbs since I started this cycle 12 weeks ago, ya think my receptors were clean and fresh? I feel like an alpha male ready to kill, and my workouts are such. I do need to dial my nutrition in a bit more, not eating enough I feel, not into counting calories or that, just eat clean, lots of protein, minimal carbs, and healthy fats...big on grass fed, organic, free range, will be buying 1/2 a cow at the beginning of the year, local ranch that raises grass fed cows, so plenty of lean meat, and I live on the coast so fish is fresh...guess I am blessed in life, and now I stumble across a bro such as yourself willing to work with me...it seems to only be getting better. I have built a natural foundation and am a huge advocate of such, didn't touch AAS until I was 35 years old, and have only cycled to get ready for competitions. I believe in health, safety, and longevity in this lifestyle and sport, and want to be pulled out from underneath a barbell in the squat rack when my day comes, so Led I am ready to pull the trigger, PM me and lets exchange emails, phone numbers, etc. Lets start a new era!!!

I never had any complaints except for that I did not bang them enough...

I had problems the past couple years because of tren use, but I never had any real shut down issues. Even when I got off tren if a girl looks good I get it up, but if she is average or if I'm not really attractive to her then it is like a wet noodle..

But ultimately no, but yes in relation to Tren sometimes..

AAP was that old school mod who had some boobies in his avi like zed lol he's a damn monster. Wulfgar was a freak too, but he trimmed down from like 300 to 225 (i think) for physique competitions...

I'll get some pics up soon, taking my afters to compare with how I looked before this katana and sarms cut!

My mid Jan-March cycle is nuts bro, you're gonna love it! Lots of sust and a little tren and tbol :)

I know I'll take a little flack for it, but it's time I go all in. My chips have been on the table for awhile, but I've been sandbagging. If I want to achieve my goals, it's time I start taking it seriously and taking myself seriously with this sport and get to work!!

Yeah, Mother Green and Her Killing Machine, and no, you can't turn that mindset off. July will be my 20th anniversary I was dicharged from the core. I still dream about my M-16 A2, her name was Carol :)

I play paintball and thus wanted something to kickstart my gains. Im 5'10 175lbs 10% BF age 26.

Running 75mg ed Halodrol and Trenazone. Test C and Adex are on their way and I may run 250mg test for 10weeks if it gets here soon. Im on day 5 of the PHs.

Oh did I mention 400mcg/3 ghrp-6 daily?

My goals are to break 190 w <10%.

I do balls out training for 3-4 days then take 3-4 off.

I can already feel this shit working.

Yeah, I'm not starting that cycle until March.. I will just play around with some gear until then. I will probably run 500 of test and 700 mgs of deca starting next week then switch over to the cycle I posted.

I will post my workouts starting Monday.. Your cycle looks good. It's all deadly!

EQ needs to be ran for 14-16 weeks to get any real benefit from it, and it should be ran 400-600mg EW so 1 vial of EQ is not enough...what are your goals, how many cycles have you done before, what will your PCT be? 1 vial of Deca & EQ isn't enough, you can run the test for 10-12 weeks if this is your first cycle, and run it @ 250-500mg EW...leave the other two alone...just my $.02 :D.

To be safe, finish the cycle you are already on and do a PCT, take off however long the cycle is + 4 week PCT off, then for your 1st injectable cycle just run Test Cyp @ 250-500mg EW for 10-12 weeks, do a 4 week PCT and that is it...dial in nutrition and training and you will grow.

PCT is a little weak...always put more into your PCT than the cycle itself. Go browse around the PCT forum and do some research...you will find all the answers you will need.

MA broke it down perfectly for you.. Imo, 125 mgs of anything a week is a waste of gear. Save the gear and stock up, then run a real cycle..

Well that is TBD...my bro is talking about 200-250mg EW, but most here will say too high and that is basically a cycle, I am also planning on SARMs along with it to start shedding down and dialing in for the pre-contest cycle which will start 4/1/13. I will be getting bloodwork done at the end of this cycle as well as bodyfat checked by dunk tank to see where I am at...so no guess work. After my contest yes I will do a full HPTA/PCT recovery blast which I know I will get myself to recover...and if not, well I am 42 years old, have all the children I want, and have no problem pinning myself for the rest of my life and will really just consider cruising and blasting from here on out.

Yeah most do a 3 month cyc at 500 so div by two you could do 250 at 6 months I was thinking. It would be like a cyc but longer lower dose but you could do 250 for 3 months its like half cyc. Idk

From what I have researched, 125-200mg is the typical TRT/HRT dose EW, anything above is basically considered a low dose cycle...but don't quote me, I'm sure others will chime in here. I plan on a 10 week cruise up to April 1st like I said before I blast again for my precontest cycle...which will be fun :D. It has been 5 years since I have ran any real AAS cycles, so my receptors were clean and fresh, and my body has responded beautifully...and it is going to get better in the next 7 months up to my competition(s)...we will see how the first one goes, then will determine my next move. I am going balls to the wall, it is my time to shine, it is time for this guy to chase my dreams and goals and see what I have to make the most of my bodybuilding lifestyle, and I have the love and support of my friends and family behind me 100%...so I can't let them or myself down, 42 years young, and have the desire for excellence in myself...which is why I am looking to bros at a level above me to help me get to where I want to be.
