I am currently on a cut to get down to around 6% body fat so I can try and put on 10 lbs of pure lean mass. I have a diet plan that seems to be pretty solid but there are some things I have noticed about it that are alarming:
1) There are little to no fats in it.
- All the dairy is no fat and tuna is recommended with low fat mayo. I currently have a diet high in peanuts, almonds, walnuts and fish though. These have a lot of good fat from what I understand. Would I risk storing fat if I were to continue to eat these during my lean bulk?
2) No egg yolks
- I like egg yolks and whole eggs are very cheap. I eat mine hard boiled - no other way. Would this hurt my bulk?
These are my main 2 concerns. One of my favorite parts of the day is coming home from work or class and devouring a handful of shelled peanuts while I watch work out videos and read on nutrition. Hopefully this is something I can continue to do during my bulk.
Any insight and personal experience is appreciated
