LDG + S4 (w/ M1 MK) stack log.

As stated in a few previous posts I am planning on putting together a daily (hopefully) log detailing the next 12 week sarms cycle of LDG + S4 from esarms. I’ll will look to post experience whilst on cycle including updating various stats e.g. weight, bodyfat %, workouts, calorie intake and overall wellbeing and thoughts as I progress through the 12 weeks.


I’ll start by posting my current stats on the day the cycle began, today…


Age: 38
Weight: 84.5kg (186.3lbs)

I’ll post my current 1RM’s so that strength increases can be more accurately documented, I’m not as strong as I’d like as you’re about to see. I’ve sacrificed strength over the past few years in favour of muscular endurance.

Day 1:


Blood work done at 5:30am.
LDG - 10mg @ 5:45am
S4 - 25mg @ 5:45am, 25mg @ 11:30am
M1 MK – 3caps @ 5:45am, 1cap @ 8:30am, 1cap @ 13:00, 2caps @ 17:30.


Once I had completed blood work and taken the above doses of LDG, S4 and M1 MK I went to the gym to get my workout in for the day. 6am – 7:15am on a Wednesday is my HIIT cardio day. I felt really good in the gym and was happy with my workout, probably a placebo effect from knowing it’s the first day of a new cycle, kinda gives you a little extra motivation. I've had a headache most of the after post second S4 dose but this could be down to dehydration as I haven't managed to drink as much water as I normally do today. I’ve been eating around 3800-4000 cals a day for the past 2 months, I’ve decided to scale that back to around 3500 cals and keep them as clean as possible, aiming to hit around 220g of protein a day. I’ll post a typical days diet in a few days. Overall feeling really positive about the upcoming 12 weeks, my motivation for training has never been lacking and with two weeks in Aruba to look forward to in September my diet will be on point ready to get that beach body in the best possible shape.
 
Day 2:

LDG - 10mg @ 5:45am
S4 - 25mg @ 5:45am, 25mg @ 11:30am
M1 MK – 3caps @ 5:45am, 1cap @ 11:20am, 1cap @ 13:30, 2caps @ 17:30.

So the headache I got yesterday afternoon just got worse as the evening went on. Struggled to fall asleep and woke up today with it still there. Managed to pick up some paracetamol on my way to the gym and that seemed to do the trick. Headaches came on again post 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] S4 dose so again I used the same over the counter painkillers. I’ve read that one of the main side effects with LDG and S4 can be headaches in the early stages, hopefully they don’t hang around.

Again I felt good in the gym this morning, wouldn’t say I’m feeling any stronger but it’s only day two so not really expecting that yet.
 
Haven't seen too many this detailed logs here so I am really looking forward to what's to come. Keep up the good work man!

i stopped power lifting several years ago. my body had enough.. at your age i 100% agree with what you are doing. disc health is a big problem in guys who weight train for years and you don't want to herniate them cause it is no fun trust me

Thanks Steve. Yeah I'm not looking to put up big numbers at this stage in my life. Coming from a football/soccer background I've never been into pushing my numbers up, I've always been more of a cardio/muscle endurance guy. This stage of my life I just want to add a little size and look decent on the beach. ;) I know my numbers will be chicken feed to most guys on here but I'm looking to train in the hypertrophy 8+ rep range rather than the 2-5 rep strength range.

Bodyfat % - 7.5%

I train later on a Saturday so dosed a few hours later than normal. I also had my skinfold measurements taken and was quite surprised at the results. I was overestimating my bodyfat % when I stated I thought I was in the 10-12% range but I didn’t expect to be as low as 7.5%! I knew I was lean but you never really know until you’re measured. I think I’ll need to re-evaluate my calorie intake reducing and head back towards 4000cals a day.

I felt a little more vascular today after leaving the gym. I did a combination of squats and back work with a 35min cardio session thrown in at the end. The weather was great here today so we got to run outside, love those workouts! Still no noticeable difference in anyway from the stack but its still early days.
 
Day 5:

Sundays are my rest day so no gym today. Nothing new to report other than the small effects I’ve been experiencing are most likely down to the placebo effect you get when starting a new cycle. I’m still concerned about my testosterone levels, especially my free testosterone. Hoping these don’t stunt my current cycle. Looking forward to getting back in the gym tomorrow morning.
 
you dont have high shbg though bro... proviron lowers shbg to free up bound testosterone but it wouldnt appear that your shbg is causing an issue

Started my new lifting macrocycle today, really looking forward to what I can do with this alongside the LDG and S4. I’ll update progress on lifting numbers etc as they happen. Jumped on the scales this morning and there hasn’t really been any change in the previous five days but considering I’d lowered my calories that’s a good thing. I’ve decided to push my daily calories back up to 4000 a day for the next 2-3 weeks. I’m 7.5% bodyfat so sacrificing a percent or two in order to gain some size wouldn’t be the end of the world. Headaches seem to have gone. I’ll look at posting my average daily food intake in the next few days.
 
Day 7:

Felt good in the gym this morning, still no real strength increases to report yet. Started to get a slight tint of yellow vision last night while I was lying in bed. Nothing major. Back upto 4000cals a day now so I’ve posted todays meals below…


05:45am – 1 x slice of wholemeal bread, 1 x small banana, 10g peanut butter (7g protein)
08:30am – 1 cup semi-skimmed milk, 90g rolled oats, 1 x small banana, 10g peanut butter (23g protein)
11:00am – 1 x Quark yogurt 120g (22g protein)
13:15 – 100g (raw) brown rice, 165g ground turkey, 50g reduced fat coleslaw, 15g light mayo (62g protein)
15:30 – 1 x wholemeal wrap, 1 can tuna, 15g light mayo, 25g spinach (34g protein)
18:00 – 200g chicken breast, 300g white potato, 100g broccoli, 80g courgette, 75g bell pepper, 75g onion, 10ml olive oil (67g protein)
19:30 – 2 x chocolate rice cake (3g protein)
21:30 – 250g Greek yogurt, 20g casein protein powder, 50g granola, 100g strawberries, 30g blueberries, 20g almonds (37g protein)

Will do Steve. Hit a chest workout today for the second time this week. Haven’t done a program that involves hitting the same muscle groups twice a week for years. I’ll post details later (just about to run into work).

Dosed at the normal time this morning and felt super motivated on the drive to the gym. Pharoah Monche cranked WAY UP! Today was a repeat of Mondays chest and back workout. I’m hitting upper body muscle groups twice a week with my new program, something I haven’t done for many years. This way I’m hoping to see a clearer progression week to week. Sticking in the 10-12 rep range x 4, I progressed from Monday hitting all sets at 12 reps or increasing the weight from hitting 12 on Monday.

Workout felt savage as I was performing it but I was happy with the score, the runs felt good and I didn’t feel overly gassed. My lifting numbers aren’t great but I’m starting the program at a modest pace as I haven’t lifted this much in a few years. More room for improvement.
 
Day 12:

Rest day. Dosing a little all over the place today. Nothing else to report. Busting to get back in the gym tomorrow morning and up those numbers!
 
Day 13:

Into week 2 of my lifting cycle, felt good again this morning. Not really noticing any strength increases at the moment. I’ve read multiple times that these particular sarms can take around two weeks for the user to see any difference in body composition and strength. I do feel slightly leaner today with my lower abs looking more prominent. Also my arms feel a bit more pumped. Weight hasn’t changed a significant amount since the beginning of the cycle.
 
Day 14:

S4 – 25mg @ 5:45am, 25mg @ 11:00am

M1 MK – 3caps @ 5:30am, 2cap @ 08:30am, 2caps @ 18:30

Weight – 83.4kg (184lbs)

Two weeks into the 12 week cycle. Wouldn’t say I’m noticing any big strength increases yet. Increased the weights in the gym this morning but wasn’t always able to hit the 12 reps on every set. HIIT cardio day tomorrow so we’ll see how that feels. Weight has stayed the same since beginning the cycle which is a little disappointing.

Cardio HIIT training this morning. Felt good during the workout. Don’t feel that the sarms are effecting my cardio in anyway, which is good. On a side note, I’ve seen a few people discussing the taste of the liquid sarms. They are fine tasting to me, kinda a little sweet and I don’t need a chaser. Just wanted to drop that in here.

Second chest/back session of the week today. Hitting the same weight and reps on the bench. Hit an extra rep on my DB incline press then did a few drop sets. Cable pull overs felt better today. Upped the weight on the Pendlay row to 4 x 12 @ 77.5kg (171lbs). Increased the sets of deadlifts by 2.5kg (5.5lbs). Nothing really to note in terms of strength increases.

Seem to be hitting around a 2.5lbs increase per session on most of my isolation lifts. I started my compound lifts at moderate weights so they are steadily increasing 10lbs per session. I wouldn’t say I’m feeling stronger yet but not even three weeks into the cycle so still expecting much more of a strength increase. Felt lean today and took a decent picture in the changing room post workout, maybe it was the lighting but I looked more cut, even though I’m still on 4000cals a day.
 
Day 19:

Had to scale the weights back today to hit all the reps and keep good form. Didn’t feel the best today, slight bit of lethargy starting to set in. Not feeling any strength increases. Hoping to bounce back tomorrow morning and hit some good numbers on shoulders.

Still no change on my weight so I’m planned on upping my calories again for a week starting tomorrow, then I’ll re-evaluate.

Starting a new job can definitely have an impact on your training. I can definitely attest to that.

For sure. I’ll have to change up my workout times but I’ll make sure I get the sessions in. Could be a cardio heavy week as I’m hotel bound for 5 days.

Upped my calorie intake yesterday to 4300cals, keeping that up could be difficult. I stuck between two mindsets at the moment. I want this cycle to form more of a recomp before my holiday to Aruba in September. Should I drop below maintenance and hope that the sarms can prevent any muscle loss, allowing me to look leaner? Or should I try and maintain by calorie surplus and cut the extra fat mass I might gain 3-4 weeks out?

Ok… so today wasn’t such a good day. I’ve been feeling signs of suppression over the last few days, low energy and generally feeling weaker doing mundane tasks. Today I felt pretty bad in the gym. I’ve tapered back my cardio training since I started this stack and focused more on lifting. I have a CrossFit competition coming up next month and today was a practice (Team workout) workout. My performance was NOT GOOD, my cardio seems to have fallen off a cliff. This is worrying a month out from a comp. I don’t know if it’s a side-effect from the LDG+S4 stack in the form of suppression, or if it’s the lack of cardio over the past three weeks. My level shouldn’t have dropped this much!

I have 60 days of GW on hand and I’m now thinking of adding this into my cycle for the next 30 days in the lead up to the comp. Then keeping the remaining 30 days for PCT. I’m hoping this will get my cardio levels back up while increasing the comp prep training.
 
Day 26:

LDG - 10mg @ 7:30am
S4 - 25mg @ 7:30am & 25mg @ 12:30
M1 MK - 3 caps @ 14:00 & 4 caps @ 22:00

I’m away with work this week so it’s the hotel gym for the next 4 days. Managed to get a decent (but short) chest session in today. Planning on an early shoulders/arms/cardio session in the morning before breakfast. Don’t feel as bad as I did a few days ago but I’m still not feeling any positive effects from the sarms. I do look a little more vascular in my calves and shoulders but that’s about it. My weight is stable and has been for the past four weeks. I’m definitely adding in the GW as previously mentioned. I’ll start dosing this at the beginning of week 5 and run it for 4 weeks.

Still in the hotel but have managed some really good workouts. Hit chest and back and back again today, will do shoulders and arms tomorrow before squatting on Friday. Feeling really tired at the moment. Probably a combination of working away, which involves 14 hour days and some suppression from the sarms. I'm interested to see the results when I run my mid-cycle bloods in two weeks, it feels as though my test levels are dropping from an already prep cycle level. I'm looking to start the GW tomorrow so I'm hoping to see some bounce back when I get back to my home gym on Friday for some more comp prep. I'll post some updated gym numbers in the next few days.
 
Sorry the updates have been slow recently. Been snowed in with work and me and the Mrs decided to have a weekend away, sorely needed. I’ll update on my progress tomorrow.

I’ve been putting the work in since day 1. Trying to gain mass while keeping my cardio at my normal level just isn’t possible unfortunately. Different goals require different focus. I don’t feel like this stack is helping with gain size/strength so I’ve decided to go back to what I enjoy and whatever the sarms provide is a bonus.

Ordered my mid-cycle bloods this week so I'll take a sample this weekend. Really looking forward to seeing the results as I'm still feeling quite
suppressed. Strength still hasn't improved and while I still look at little more vascular, not a lot has changed.

Ok so I'm half way through my 12 week cycle... I started the cycle with a recomp in mind and I started the cycle in a calorie surplus to try and gain a few pounds before starting a cut (water hopefully) at about the half way stage. It isn't uncommon to read that people have gained 3-5lbs in 6 weeks on this stack. Well that didn't happen for whatever reason, maybe too much cardio but my cardio performance has suffered as I've stated so I don't think its that. That brings me too today and my cut has started, I'm now in a calorie deficit and hoping the sarms help me to retain muscle as I strip away bodyfat (something I find easier to do).

CF comp 10-11 August and the training has now ramped up, felt good in the gym this morning. I think the GW is starting to kick in, but time will tell over the next 2 weeks.

On a side note, getting the final few doses out of the sarms bottles in a bloody nightmare! I know liquids are easier to dose but think I'd prefer pills. Starting to come around to the idea of running a Test only cycle towards the end of the year.

I'll be taking a blood sample tomorrow morning and sending it off for analysis. My test levels were low and my prolactin was really high at the beginning of the cycle. I feel a lot more lethargic now than I did then so I dread to think what the results will be. Training has been ok, a week of comp prep coming up and the workouts have been released so a good chance to have a go and see what we can do. Cardio seems to be coming back but my strength is still lacking a bit. I'm due to max out my clean & jerk tomorrow so that should be interesting.

Testosterone 13.9 nmol/L (Range: 8.64 - 29)
Free Testosterone 0.168 nmol/L (Range: 0.2 - 0.62)

The report stated that I should look to see a Doctor to discuss my results as I've had two low free test results. What do you guys make of these results? If If I'm honest I expected my overall testosterone to have decreased during this cycle as I haven't been feeling the best or getting the expected results, but my free test HAS decreased so is there something to that?

My SHBG has also risen and is now considered very high. Any thoughts?

As for training, I've ramped up the cardio going into this weekends comp and I'm feeling better about it. The GW is working so I should have the capacity to put in a good showing. Bought a tub of pre-workout for the occasion for the first time in over a year! Haha.

Ok, so the competition went relatively well. The two events that I thought I'd do really well in didn't live up to expectations but the other five events I smashed and did a lot better than I thought I would. Overall a really great weekend and we finished as top pairing at our gym which I'm happy with.

Didn't eat much over the weekend as I don't get that hungry when I complete, but since then my appetite has gone through the roof. Still managing to keep within my cals/macros. Down to my last bottle of LDG and S4 so nearing the end of the cycle. Still no real strength increases to note. Hoping to see a more shredded look in the next couple of weeks now that I'm in a calorie deficit. I really don't think my initial low test levels have helped on this cycle, feels like I started behind the 8 ball. Proviron in transit to hopefully aid in this issue.

Proviron arrived yesterday so I've started dosing at 50mg per day for the remainder of my cycle to try and get my SNBG levels down and hopefully my free test levels up. I also ordered a little extra S4 to bump my daily dose to 75mg. Cut is going well, reduced my calories this week from 2800 down to 2700. Will look to reduce again by 100cals going into next week.

So I had a Dr appointment today to discuss my two latest blood tests that came back as low test and very low free test. Cut a long story short, the doctor has referred me to an endocrinologist with the view of putting me on TRT but in the form of a gel. The doctor told me that they don't prescribe injectable testosterone unless it's for cancer treatment. He also referred to a test I had back in 2014 that came back as low but the Dr at the time didn't follow up on it!!! Thanks Doc!

So my question now is have any of you guys had an experience of using a testosterone gel? I've read a few studies today that claim 10g of gel per day can lift your test levels into the high end of your range within 3-6 months.
 
I've not had any experience with it, but it is very odd he won't prescribe injectable. I thought with the gel there was risk of transfer to others like a significant other.

Yeah apparently the gel provides a more stable level as it's applied daily.

I've decided to ditch the Proviron for now as I've got another blood test at the doctors next Wednesday and I want to hide any levels that the
endocrinologist needs to see. I'll be upping my S4 dose to 100mg per day for the final week of the cycle. Looking at cutting the cycle a little short to coincide with the blood work.

As for training I'm ramping up the cardio now that I'm in a calorie deficit. Looking at getting under 80kg before Sept 6th (ARUBA BABY). Should be no problem as I don't struggle with cuts. I've given up on the sarms giving me any strength increase as I'm still seeing virtually zero. I am feeling and looking more shredded as the days go by but that is mainly because my diet.

Once the cycle is complete I'll write a comprehensive review on my thoughts and feelings. Also I'll update on what the
endocrinologist has to say regarding my low test levels.

Nearing the end of the cycle with only 2 days to go until I finish my last dose of S4. I’ll take three days off, have bloodwork done and then begin my PCT. I’ll list what I’m planning for PCT in a few days, I feel like I need something more comprehensive than just a mini-pct of test booster, MK2866 and GW. My test levels were already low pre-cycle and with the way I’ve been feeling lately they make have dropped even further. I’m ready for the cycle to end now as I’m really not feeling that great, constantly tired and zero motivation to do the most nominal of tasks.

I discontinued the Proviron for now as I’m having bloods done next Wednesday and I want to give the Dr clear picture as possible. Chances are I’ll be prescribed TRT but in the form of a gel. If this is the case then I plan on asking for advice regarding self-administration of testosterone via injections rather than the prescribed gel. I’m starting to think that daily injections at a lower dose would be more beneficial to me, as the dose is a lot lower I could administer the injections IM via an insulin needle. This way I could keep my levels much more stable. 1/3 cc per day is viable via insulin needle.

Any thoughts on this proposed method are welcome.

i dont like every day injections on trt whatsoever however i definitely like self administering over the gel, absolutely... test cyp twice a week is all you need to go with... the severity of your low test would determine the dose but generally, 100-150 is more than adequate per week..

also, on a sarms stack, you would not want mk2866 in your pct either... if you feel you need more, add clomid in there but if you are going to trt, it would not be necessary

buddy injections is so much easier. injecting a tiny amount of something once a week vs. a gel daily that you gotta remember to do and what if you aren't home?

you can always do gel to start and see how you like it though. doctors will do injections, just ask or find a new one
