My sister has been using Latisse and OMG I should take a pic of her eyes compared to my eyes. I think I'm going to start it. Anyone else use it?

negative...the potential for permanent iris darkening freaks me out

I have very unique colored eyes and would like to keep it that way...I'd be pissed if they turned brown

plus, I have black carpets for eyelashes that really dress up nice with a little mascara..plus I never go anywhere nice so it matters not so much anymore anyway :(

Shirl, I was wondering about the brown eye pigmentation and that had me freaked out a little too. I happen to like my eye color, a light baby blue. My Dad's eyes. It didn't darken my sister's eyes. She said that only happened w/ glaucoma users who put it directly in their eye.... STILL though.... something to think about

oh I didnt know that...the glaucoma /direct eye thing

my eyes are a funky hazel that starts with a blue outer ring goes to brown then gold then green at the center.....Id be extra pissed to lose what little differentiation to brown I have..haha

Cindylou, I posted on your page. I am in agreement with Shirlene about not wanting to risk an iris color change. There are other factors which may be more disconcerting such as periorbital fat loss...there have been anecdotal reports of such. I would be more fearful of this as it ages an eye more than sparse eyelashes. There's also reports of darkening of the skin around the lash lines. I have dark and thickish lashes but wanted to try it as well. For me, not worth the risk.
