All,

Because of a fucked up schedule I finish my workout at around 11 PM ....what should I eat after my workout...or should I eat...im afraid it will turn into fat that late at night...should just have a meal replacement shake or whey or can i have solids??
 
Just eat, it shouldn't be a problem. Eat what your normally eat after a workout. Same thing. MRP would not be bad if you don't want to eat. Plus it will help you go to sleep, eating makes your body release triptifan (sp) which tells you, you are tired. I would love to train at 11pm just cannot find a good gym open that late in my area.

now i also finish lifting at around 11 or 11;30 pm. i want to start taking Cell-Tech. can i take this that late. even though it has all that sugar and calories. im not trying to add any weight at all. would cell tech be a good idea?

I think that what you said is a joke but I have to say it anyway.... Don't waste the cash on cell-tech... Creatine is usually best taken with some simple carbs (I like to use grape juice)... Cell-tech will not bring you any better gains than EAS phosphagen or any other creatine supp on the market (that is worth buying) ...it's just a waste of your good money to buy cell-tech...

As long as you guys aren't sowrried about weight gain you can eat pretty much anything you want late at night.... People with slower metabolisms might not be able to do this because they will notice some fat gain if the do it on a regular basis, but I would think that, if you eat clean, you would be fine eating at midnight or 1am or whatever...
 
I always eat something before bed. But my goals are probably different then yours. I am trying to bulk up, so I eat as much as I can

now there are about 1000 other articles that say otherwise. that grape juice and creatine will put some fat on you. all this contradiction has made me one confused fucking guy.
 
You don't need a HUGE post workout drink after training. Have a high carb solid meal before traning and follow it by whey protein and some carbs, 20g or so.
 
I finish at about the same time. You don't go to my gym do you? LOL. I take creatine and a post-workout MRP or a solid meal after working out regardless of when I finish. If you have a slow metabolism, this could be a problem for you. If you have a fast metabolism, it may help you to eat a solid meal that will be slowly digested while you sleep. This may help prevent your body from going into a catabolic state. Just an idea.
