Ladies, ever gone "brazilian"?

it's worth it hon... they say to put some anbesol (sp?) on ya and/or have a stiff drink before you go.
i've sugared myself down there and it hurts some... but it's worth it.

I can handle pain... Ok Ok, I kinda like it 
I admit.
But I do NOT want some lady at a salon pulling my butt cheeks apart & waxing my crack. You do know they do that in a Brazialian, right?
One of my girlfriends gets them done & she said it is the most painful thing she has ever done. More painful than having patella tendonitis from her distance running. I read in some fashion magazine that a writer tried it & said she was sore for a few days.
Not worth it to me... Not my idea of fun pain. My crack ain't that hairy anyway

Is a "brazialian" wall-to-wall bare, or does it leave a little strip up front? I think "sphinx" is completely bare. Who comes up with names for this anyway?!

It's not bad, really. The pain is over in a minute, but the embarrasment will last a lifetime. LOL
Nothing like being down on your hands and knees while a stranger slops wax on your delicate parts.
To me it's worth it, because it saves a lot of hassle and irritation(no pun intended) in everyday life.
Find someone good, though. You dont' want someone singeing your nasties into oblivion. LOL

Where I go it's @ 150.00. It's pricey- but the hair is gone on me so it's less expensive than razors, waxing and creams over the long run.. I LOVE IT!! Sometimes you can find specials.
It takes a few treatments but your hair gets thinner and lighter each time..
when i get working i will definitely put that on my list of "to do's"

I think I would rather have the lasoring done. I think that it would definitely be worth the money. Starfish...how many times did you have to have the lasoring done? Can you explain how it was done??? Inquiring minds want to know!

Lasering only cost around $150.00??
Here in Toronto it's about $150.00 per session and they say you need at least 5 - 6 sessions for it to go away ...
It's been on my list for a long time!
Maybe it's time to think about it again.

Lasering is really easy.. You just go in and they mark where you want the hair treated and they go over it zap zap... They put a cold gel on you to take away the heat. It doesn't really hurt. I think waxing would hurt more- OUCH!! Anyway, your hair just starts falling out after that..
As for results, it varies. If you have light skin (no tan) and dark hair you will get the best results. They are coming out with new lasers for darker skin. I have had excellent results. I'll spend the extra money for a laser treatment anyday.
The cost is different. It can be really high in certain parts of the country. I bet as lasering becomes more popular, the price will go down.

The women presenter of a breakfast radioshow where I live "went Brazilian" a couple of weeks ago. She reckoned the pain was intense, she admits she is a wuss, but it is worth it. She also noted that the sensation when you have your first shower is interesting. She then went on and explained what it was and how they did it, censored due to the setting. Her co-host was speechless for a minute then all he could do was try and change the subject. The fact that I know her personally meant that it was not a pleasent image, she is skinny-fat and has a good head for radio.
Geez, I feel lucky, the cost of lasering where I live is $70 or 4 sessions for $240
Now I have to go back and have the post cycle black neck whiskers removed - did I tell you how attractive they are???
If you are considering lasering you can't wax or pluck for 6 weeks prior as the hair has to be on the surface for the laser to work. You can shave.
