Knowing Your Body????

Yo Pump it :)

I said there are other means to get to such low bf, I didnt state that everyone who goes low uses all or most of these means. Bottom line is diet but I am not going to punish myself and spend most of my time in the kitchen and preparing meals for each day. I am to feel happy not under pressure, each to their own & good luck getting to where ya wanna be.

i hope your not taking what i say the wrong way:) im not saying that anyone SHOULD go down to 5%bf. i say do whatever makes u feel comfortable. i know i sure as hell dont feel good at 3% i do it solely for competition purposes. i feel much better at my offseason level of about 8-10%.the point i was originally tryin to make is that it is not as hard as many people think to get yourself down to that level.

What do I care about a guy that is 12-18% bodyfat, has never gotten any lower(doesn't want to do the things to get there) but is going to tell me how great winny is. Or how vascular he gets from EQ---Or how he feels so good off Anavar---Then tells me that he going to do some DNP because he has tried every diet out there but his body just won't lose anymore bodyfat---These types of guys are at every gym. The type of guy that looks pretty big with his baggy sweatshirt on but when he takes his shirt off, its a whole diff-story. And likes to tell people what to do instead of listening to some.

i know ive seen my fare share of people like this.

For all you people out there that have never competed or gotten your body close to comp. condition and love to give advise. And call yourself a bodybuilder of some sort.

I do not have to compete as a "Body Builder" to be interested in "Building my Body"!! Do not make the assumption that only people who compete are the ones who know anything. (Not that I am an expert.)

Competing is not the only reason we do what we do!

Joker ----If you re-read my quote I believe I stated "or get in comp condition" --Not just someone who competes----I know guys that get pretty low once a year just to kick-start there bodies. And they don't compete, but they do know what it takes to get into comp. or close to condition. I never made the assumption that you have to compete to know your shit. But if one has never done the "diet" and got real low then how much does he really know. Other then what he reads or what people tell him. He will never know what it feels like to crave carbs for 2 months and restrict cals----All I am saying is these are the types of guys that I want to take advise from. Not a guy who has read in muscle mag--Jay cutlers diet and thinks he knows what its like to do such a thing. Peace----

No but if a person is in the gym and lifts weight--eats his protein takes x-amounts of gear and starts telling people how to do things, what is it that this person is actually doing. Nutrition is 85% of what it takes. So if someone wants to give advise ---Don't you think they should have atleast put together some kind of diet plan. And do it first hand ---not 2nd or 3rd hand. I'm not talking about competing. Hell how many fat fucks do you know in your gym that are on X-amounts of gear and like to tell you how you should be doing something. These are the types of people that this thread is for. I don't want to take advise from a guy who is on 2 grams of test ---a boat load of gh---and all the extras but can't put a diet together to save his life and never has. But will argue till days on end with someone saying he knows his shit and has been in the game for years---But to each his own...Peace.

Dieting is the hardest thing for me in the bb game, be on a diet going to the gym and not being able to lift as much, you think your getting weaker but your getting leaner and looking better, your brain is totally f*cked up, you can't think straight and in my experience your like a walking zombie. I respect this thought and Wombat for bringing it up I got down to 6% bodyfat and for my body type it was like going to war with myself everyday I woke up. You gotta go to war to talk about it.
