knee pains

i did some badass speed squats at 80% of my max because im just that badass, but it turns out my knees arent as badass as me because theyre starting to hurt. the pain feels like a bone failure? bone fracture? cartilage trouble? torn ligament? its a sharp kind of pain that doesnt feel very good. whenever i flex my knees i hear popping noises. the pain is on the outside of my patella. it may be because my calf bones are curved outwards.

should i visit a doctor or should i visit a physio? what are some rehab work i can undertake in the meantime?

Going to a doctor is always a good idea when there has been an injury. We may be able to help diagnose and make recommendations, but without an x-ray and hands on check, it could lead to trouble. And definitely don't try to work through it. Go to the doctor and let us know what he says.
