Keeping hard earned muscle while you diet???

Personally, I have never lost "way too much muscle." I don't often hear about people losing significant amounts of muscle if they continue to eat well and workout. The only time I hear of that is when people break from the gym for a period of time.

Keep in mind, I am a woman. I have a lot less testosterone in my body than you do. That puts me at disadvantage. I have bulked and I have leaned down and still haven't taken any steps backward in terms of muscle.

I don't think it's about "keeping up protein and praying." I think it's about being smart about your eating and your training. If you've got your cals and the ratios of ALL of your macros right (not just protein), you're NOT over-doing the cardio, and you're still lifting, there's no way you're going to lose insane amounts of muscle.

An advantage of being a woman is you don't loose your gains like men do after going off cycle.
