karma?

I understand everything I have seen so far but karma. I know the def. of karma, but I do not understand how it applies to this forum. You can Fucking buy it? Looking to go plat, please help. sorry for being a dumb-ass. please help
 
Karma is your voice volume/importance meter for people to see,,, if you go down, you piss people off and are a sheisty fucker, if you go up and have karma to give away, then you are a pleasure to learn from and learn with about AAS and fitness :),,, sort of

click on the karma yinyang below the ONLINE! or OFFLINE! underneath the name in the post and choose to add positive or negative Karma, and you can make comments as to why along with it:)
 
Notice the little ying/yang symbol below your name. Click that on someones post and go from there. You can practice by giving k to me!

That seems to be forgotten here. karma is kind of a popularity contest also. some guys are karma whores. they think htey know more than other because htey have a high karma score. However, there are a few newbies like anthonyroberts and say111 who contribute nicely to this forum. Pick who you take advice from wisely.

I agree but also bad karma is bad karma, and peeps with the k in the red need to do some serious ass kissing before being listened to, and you can never go wrong listening to the mods like Mr.X and RADAR, and Ulter , and plenty of others.

Oh yes, there are some very good vets out there. Macro is probably the one who I feel is the most knowledgable on the biology part of the game. Not sure what he does for a living, but I'll guess it has to do with biology.

In theory karma's your reputation, earned when people approve of something you've posted.

In practice we don't charge your Karma account when you give someone a hit, and so some people, fondly known as "those fucking K whores," keep a list and inflate the currency by "hitting" each other every day. Doesn't matter to them if the other guy is posting utter crap, only that he hits them back for whatever crap they posted.

In Germany before WWII, someone had a wheelbarrow full of paper money, which had become worthless because of inflation. Someone else stole the wheelbarrow and dumped out the worthless paper -- that's how bad it was.

So you might say they've turned it into a big circle-jerk. (Bitter? Me?) Yes, you can buy it -- and that ought to be the only way to increase the Karma supply. If you hit someone it SHOULD transfer some number of your K points to him, and if you take him down by ten points by disapproving his post, it should make those ten points vanish from the system. But that's not how it works.

Will the Karma system change in the near future to reflect the theretical point you make?

Remove the inflationary model then, wipe everyone's slate clean. Give everyone a set amount of k beased upon thier join date and membership status and implement your idea, it seems sound.

Karma rot would limit it. A general loss from everyone of 1% of their Karma each day and the system becomes contained.
