Hey guys, just got home from the hospital where I had gyno surgery done. The gyno was from puberty and was fully covred by insurance :) The operation took about an hour to preform and was done by a plastic surgeron. As far as pain goes, it's not to bad right now but I am sure it will get worse. My left nipple and the area around it is sore and extremely swollen, the right is a little tender and not swollen much at all. The doc said no exersize for 3-4 days and no upper body for at least 2-3 weeks so the plan is to stay on Nolvadex as I was before and take a low dose of Anavar to bridge into my next cycle. I'll keep you guys posted every couple days on how my recovery is going.

Good luck bro, hope u recover speadily.
Btw....can u go into detail how the operation was performed?

I had the same thing many yrs ago. I would wait longer than a few weeks to fully work out. Dr's have no concept of the lifting you probably do.

Also, where your compression vest as directed. (If you had any lipo)

Try not to be too active the first week.

Good luck bro. It is worth it. I had fuckers calling me tits from 12 to 24 yrs old.

pretty sure once you have surgery they take out the gland and it doesn't allow the gyno to come back, i think no to sure though.

i see....good to know...i have tiny nipples and no fat on my chest so gyno will be pretty easy to notice once i do start gear

As long as you have anti-e's on hand, you should never had to worry about gyno.

The entire glad was not removed, most of it was. Not sure the fine details of the surgery. I'll type more later, I need to lay down

Good luck man!

Was there a year ago. The surgeon was excellent. I was doing light cardio and calfs 2 days later. Didn't do any upperbody for a solid week to 10 days though. And even then, was "stiff" and afraid to stretch.

After a few weeks I was as good as new!

As far as I know, have research, and asked several Dr's who do this sort of procedure, there is always the possibility that gyno can return. Those who are prone to it have a greater chance of getting it again. There are a few good bros on here who have had it done more then once already. Not everyone is the same.

Good to hear you got it done and you're ok...have you had a chance yet to see the incisions?

Word. I know what it's like to recovery from surgery (several times). The more rest you get sooner you'll feel better. This is the time to indulge in your instincts (rest, feeding, etc.).

Goodluck on recovery M18! Glad to hear it went well. :)

Get well soon bro!

Thanks bud..Not yet, the dressings are still on and will remain there for 2 weeks, I will then go back to my plastic surgeon (they will be removed) and he'll have a look to see my progress.

Thanks again for all the well wishes everyone. The pain has subsided for now which is good (not using any pain meds yet) The right has swollen up a little but the left one is HUGE. I took off my shirt last night and almost shit myself when I saw the size of it!

Mustang I'd like to know how does your insurance determine that is was puberty gyno so they will cover it? I'm asking because I have had puberty gyno my whole life and would love to get it taken care of but would like to know how do they determine it is indeed puberty gyno, and not gyno had by using gear? I want to get the surgery done, but don't know how to proceed. Thank you for any info and good luck on your recovery!

We'll There really is no way to prove where your gyno has come from (as far as I know) I went to my doc, told him of my prob and that I have had it since I was at least 13-14 years old. I told him it has been bothering me and become painful. He sent me to a general surgeon to have a look at it. We talked and we deiced it would be best to see a plastic surgeon. The reason for that is, if the general surgeon removed it, he'd remove the whole glad and tissue which may give the nipple and sunken in appearance. Go to your doc, tell him it's causing you pain and you'd like to have it removed and then go from there.

Best of luck on your healing bro. I will probably be looking onto a similar procedure as I have had puberty induced gyno since I was 13 years old.
