and all i have to say is WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOO! paint fumes are fucking AWESOME! i'm higher than a mother fuckin kite right now and i didn't even pay extra for that!

and about rental cars....don't ever get one that makes a significant amount of extra power than your daily driver. the rental was a 05 Nissan Altima, 175hp. my car is an 03 Civic, 127hp, but at least it's a 5spd. i thought something was wrong when i let the clutch out and stepped on the gas. the tires didn't spin all the way to 2nd gear (ok, i made the Altima do that on purpose a lot ) and it didn't quite get up and go the same. i've been driing the Altima for a week and a half. it kinda grew on me this past week, but i'd have to have the V6 and a 6spd if i ever bought one.

it's nice to have my car back now though. the new trunk floor/sub box/amp rack project can begin this weekend. been dying to get this install done.

the shop actually did a good job. on the major bonus side, there was NO frame damage. i was kind of worried about that, even though it would've been repairable.

they did a good job, but didn't get the DIE lettering right on the trunk lid so they didn't put it back on and the S i wanted in front of the EX doesn't match so i have to find my own.

the only "pimping" going on with my "ride" is the installation of a 500 watt stereo. when i settle on/purchase/install rear speakers, i'll be up around 600watts. when i replace the subs and sub amp, i could be clearing 1000 watts RMS....TRUE power from clean amps.
