well...i competed in the TN last November...and then...took a break for about a month or so...from hard training...
Started back hard this year but my father-in-law found out his cancer had spread to his bones...he originally had one small tumor on bladder wall that was caught early and treated with chemo/rad combo last fall...
very sad...as it became very aggressive...and he was told in Spring that there was nothing more that could be done...soooo everyone in family pitched in to help care for him at home...they live close to us and since i am "retired" from work now...i became chief gofer....least i could do...he made it until July...
Needless to say my training took a back seat during this time...though i did enough to maintain...back hard now for about a month...
I'm very sorry to hear about your father-in-law. It takes a special kind of person to care for someone in that situation, around the clock. I'm sure he appreciated you making him your priority.
Are you planning to compete again soon?
The next comp for me is Nov 15th, APF. I will be competing in the 198's, as usual, full meet (squat bench dead).
198? and i remember when u thought 180 was alot! lol
yeah...gonna compete but i've missed this season....the latest NPC Show is first of November...and I am 12-14 wks from comp shape according to my trainer....
so...it will be early spring...but still gonna train to hit that 12-14 week mark just to see how I look...
i've missed so much going on here...
ann has to tell me if shes still competing?
and spatts email me an update on your luvlife!
hmm...on and is nightfly still in her hot romance and also competing???
We had a rough time back in the spring of 2003, largely because he worked 25 hours a day, 8 days a week. I suppose I could've had bigger problems than wanting him around more often. lol
He opened his own law firm, which cut his hours dramatically, and all is well.
