SALT LAKE CITY Apr 14, 2005 — A federal judge Thursday struck down the FDA ban on ephedra, the once-popular weight-loss aid that was yanked from the market after it was linked to dozens of deaths.

The judge ruled in favor of a Utah company that challenged the Food and Drug Administration's ban. Utah-based Nutraceutical claimed in its lawsuit that ephedra "has been safely consumed" for hundreds of years.

Supplements that included ephedra have been widely used for weight loss and bodybuilding, but have linked to 155 deaths, including that of Baltimore Orioles pitching prospect Steve Bechler. The FDA ordered the substance off the market in April 2004.

So based on that logic I assume that marijuana will soon become legal since it has been safely consumed for thousands of years....no???

That pitcher was a fucking moron, he starved himself for 3 days and hardly drank any fluids. He was out of shape practicing a professional sport in bad heat, and of course the blame is EPHEDRINE, same shit with My Vikings tackle Korey Stringer. Stringer died on the most humid day of the year, he was severely overweight, and was also severely dehydrated yet they tried to pin ephedrine for that as well when the coaches never should of had them practicing that day.

I hope its sold again I miss it, besides clen which I don't like going through the hassle of aquiring, is the only thing that worked extremly well for fast weight loss for me and I will buy it again the second it comes back, the second rate non ephedrine products can all go to hell lol

Ephedra was banned through administrative action by the FDA not by a legal statute, they have to prove it unsafe before banning by statute. Marijuana is illegal by statute, same with pro-hormones.

Vasopro is a 25mg of Ephedrine HCL (pharm grade) and 200mg of Guafenisiin (an expectorant). No guess work here. 25mg is 25mg, also the Guafenisin can help get rid of phlegm or congestions which I find handy in allergy season.

Ephedra is the herbal equivalent. No telling how much ephedrine you are getting here because each pill can vary in quality.

My 2cents. That's why Ephedrine is superior.
