Eh Id like if all states allowed such leeway. Id rather have someone who is guilty of a crime be imprisoned as opposed to him/her getting off on a technicality. Think of someone standing trial for a murder 1 charge and despite the fact that overwhelming physical evidence exists, the prosecution wasnt able to prove that premeditation occurred.
Applies especially to this case, and much of the defense's argument drives the point home. It was awesome when they brought the guy who owns Zimmermans gym up to the witness stand to testify about how much of a pussy Zimmerman is. A wannabe cop with a history of violence shot an unarmed man on the doorstop of his home because he unwisely started a confrontation and quickly found himself in over his head. The precedent of a not guilty verdict is scary to contemplate.
Yeah but it's the prosecution's job to file multiple charges up front. In FL they have to give notice of all charges before the trial begins. Stacking the cards in favor of the prosecution is hardly a fair trial.
