Not necessarily bad form, depending on what your goals are. You can go much heavier with your arms bent like that. Heavy = Big.

I usually do them like you guys do, with my arms slightly bent. Seems to target the chest better IMO.
 
actually that exercise is called a fold in, it is halfway between afly and a press. a good way to use it is a pre exhaust set where you start off with a weight where you can do about 6 strict form flies, then 3 or 4, fold ins, then burnout on presses. try it. you will:D
