Is this a good cutting diet?

I'm trying to cut, however I am not willing to give up carbs because as an athlete I need a lot of energy for practice. So this was my proposed cutting diet:
Wake: 30 g oatmeal
Hour later: Run for 30 minutes
After cardio: 30 g oatmeal, 30 g protein, 10 g nattie PB
3 hours later: 40 g rice, 40 g chicken
2 1/2 hours later: potato, chicken
2 hours later: ??? dont know yet
Lift
50 g dextrose, 25 g whey
hour to hour 1/2 later: 40 g protein, 50 g carbs
sleep
IF practice, I just eat protein, carb, and some healthy oil or something after...

I figure i mix in some more healthy fats in there, and I'm up to around 1800-2000 cals. I'm 175-180 lbs. so I think that would be good? Am I missing anything???? Will this strategy take a lot longer than a CKD/TKD? seems like as long as i have a deficit it would work....i dont know though, thanks for the help

Yeah, a deficit of calories w/out cutting carbs correctly and at the right times and increasing healthy fats, will assure you that you'll lose muscle and fat, thus, you'll be a smaller "just as fat" person. U can't expect to burn fat by running for cardio and only for 30 mins, and have had carbs 1 hour before doing so.

Lots of room for improvement, but I dunno where to start w/this one. I'd just read a lot about leaning out w/minimal muscle loss and how to accomplish that. Merely reducing calories below what you burn a day does NOT mean you'll burn fat, often times quite the opposite.
