Is my multivitamin useless ?

For some "experts" if your pill does not disolve well in a glass of water, and quickly, then the multi is useless since it goes through your stomach undigested

On the other hand the food stays for a long time in the stomach and in a very acidic environment

So is it that much important wether your pill dissolves well or not ?

It will dissolve one way or another.... that's its purpose.
Multiv is supposed to give you nutrients for the entire day...

Anthrax: it very much depends on the brand. Generic suppliers like Costco and Kirkland, for example, coat their Multi-V's in tar to prolong shelf life - well guess what: tar makes the multi-v cap impregnable (unabsorbable) for stomach/intestinal enzymes.

I used Kirland multis ones. I crused the pills, and sucked them with my mouth. My friends thought I was snorting the stuff.

I use GNC's Ultra Mega Gold. Switch from their MegaMan because of the higher potency of most of the ingredients.

Just for kicks I put one in white vinegar. It is dissolving, albeit slowly.
