I need to lose 30lb by the end of January. Is this possible or am I setting myself up to fail. If this is possible what do I need to do to start the process?

I would say a average weight loss for a woman is about 10 pounds a month with just basic dieting.

Eat clean, workout hard and try not to lose your mind too quickly.

what's the occasion? Wedding? Anniversary? And I agree as well, the goal is doable. You have about 100 days to lose 30 pounds. that's reasonable.
 
The occasion is a cruise and it's my first one. I've been trying to follow the atkins diet, but I keep failing. I don't know what to do. I seen Daisy Girls post about the food she ate when she lost her weight, I just don't know if that would work for me. But I'm definetly going to try. Thanks for all the feed back.
