is it ok to just train arms with weights?

i think he means he gains fat very easy and wants to cut some off before bulking so he doesnt look soft

That's pretty much what I figured as well. What's up Oak?

not much man,ive just been bumming around, training like mad im sitting about 175 and im fairly lean,im still struggling to get my training partner to pick up on good spotting techniques, what you been doing

Your arms will not get bigger unless you lift heavy. If you're on a cutting diet your gains will be hampered and working arms will tone them more then anything. Not make them bigger. Also for complete look i wouldn't just do biceps but work in some triceps also.

Been maintaining after a long cutting phase. Just gonna try to not ruin it all for the holidays.

Good spotters are hard to find. I spotted a guy doing 315 on the incline bench the other night. First two reps went ok. He started to huff and puff about halfway through rep #3. Then he looked up at me with a "why aren't you helping?" look. Funny as hell :D . All I had to do was put my hands on the bar and he pressed it right up, no help from me at all.

Now he thinks I'm a bad spotter because I made him do all the work. Ah well, to be unappreciated in one's own lifetime!!!

Keep up the training bro. Be good.

i should have made my situation clearer but basically I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't hurt me as in lifting heavy with my arms but nothing else.

I figured if people still lift heavy while cutting then in my situation if I just did arms which is all Im really worried about keeping then I could be ok.

Months back I was progressing well with weight loss and always lifted weights but didn't gain size obviously.

then I started getting depressed and taking some medicines that fuck my system up and fatigue me terribly. I cannot hang with the full weight workouts and doing cardio. and my cardio will be on a stationary bike.

I thought maybe less weight training also might allow my arms to recover quicker and put less stress on my body which is already trying to heal.

I would just not do arms either but like I said Im kind of obsessed with keeping what little I have their and if lifting weights hard while doing all my other stuff can help and not hurt me I want to do it that way.

thanks for the info!
