It's one of the especially good fats for your diet no matter what your goals are. Also olive oil. It's good to add with your late night prot shake (if you have one) to help slow the digestion and prevent catabolism while you sleep.
Cutting cycle...not so much. I typically only have late night shakes when I'm trying to bulk...and I'll even try to wake up around 4 am for a shake. When I'm cutting I typically don't eat after 9pm...big dinner around 8-9pm and bed around midnight. When I'm bulking I try to eat every 3-4 hours 24/7.
