Is Deca hated only because of shut down?

Me and Deca are old friends. Strength and size gains mg for mg far exceeds what I get from test.
I suggest you slowly work up your dose to see how you react to it.

And I mean from cycle to cycle.

I started at 200mgs/week
Next few cycles were 300mgs/week, along with other stuff.
When I got to 400mgs things got ugly. I did get shut down real hard. Serious libido issues. I'll never go over 300 again.

I did recover fully from my 400mg experience thank you.
Other then that it is a great drug.

I think if proper recovery is followed, there should be no problems with deca. For you guys that do have problems, try a combination of nolv/clomid for 3-4 weeks along with tribulus/avena sativa and tell me if you are still having problems. It is basic, but always works for me, even at 400mg per week of nandrolone decanoate.

but i think the deca has been taking unjustified beatings lately.

True, it has and besides a libido shut down, temporarly of course I had no other probs with deca. Its painless to inject, doesn't hurt the hair or liver, no pimples, high BP or any others so overall its nearly a perfect drug.

like I said though deca wouldn't be to bad on the libido if aas like proviron or test were used.

Well speaking from my personal experience I was using test<Propinate 100mgs/EOD> when I had my libido issues. I also did proper post cycle therapy.
Nolvadex for six weeks at 20mgs/ED.

I think I'm gonna use NPP like you suggest genarr. I will try something like 100mg e3d along with some test and eq. No point in going for high doses and getting shutdown. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
