Is black rice worth it?

Has anyone here eaten black rice? THey say it is very healthy, but I don't know if this is a way of explaining its high price, or it is really that good? Yesterday I tried it - the taste is pretty weird, but well edible.

Black/wild rice is slightly superior to brown/white rice but the difference is extremely minimal.

Wildrice has a slowly lower glycemic index and better macronutrient breakdown then the other two but they are all extremely similar. Picking between one or the other is kind of nit picking.

Wildrice contains slightly more protein, zinc, and potassium than brown or white rice. It is also way more expensive. Kind of a small benefit for a large increase in cost. I personally just stick with brown rice but if you got some extra money to spend, wildrice is slightly superior.

Wild rice is the best option, followed by brown rice, followed by white rice.

While the black rice is definitely the better one, the benefits are not worth the price difference. So if you don't have problems with finances, then sure - go for the black rice. However, if you are a normal person, then these benefits are not worth the money, as black rice costs like 4 times as much as normal rice where I live, but it is definitely not 4 times better than brown rice.

I honestly use white rice most of the time. Brown and White rice are almost identical on the GI although brown has slightly more minerals. Wild rice is your best option for overall healthy rice but I don't personally feel the difference is that much.
