Is A-dex as good as Proviron for estro rebound?

As stated in my ohter post, I am having some troubles with estro rebound, whe stopping nolva. Will A-dex be as effective as Proviron in suppressing E levels? I want to bring estro levels down and have them stay this way so I don't get any reoccurances of gyno.

arimidex is maybe an extreme.. it gets rid of alot more estrogen then nolva does nolva is actually made for site specific estrogen in the breasts. arimidex can bring you down dangerously low.

a lot of people use a-dex with no problems. If used at .5 mg ed or .5 mg eod then there is no way you will have levels too low. Arimidex prevents estrogen from being formed, nolva just blocks estrogen at the receptor site.

since I have a high level of estrogen in my system, the arimidex will bring estrogen levels down, but will estrogen levels then return when the drug is stopped? I am hoping that the arimidex will bring estro levels down and when stopped, E levels will return to "normal" levels. This Post cycyle gyno has got me in a frenzy, I have been online almost all day trying to figure out how to best combat it. Help a brother out!

My plan is to run A-dex at .5mg ed for 2 weeks along with 10mg nolva, then dropping the Nolva completely after 2 weeks and decreasing the A-dex to .25mg until I feel E is under control.

I also am dropping the Avena and Tribulus for now to see if that could be aggrevating it. These 2 herbs are pretty powerful, I have great sex drive and strength in the gym even 8 weeks post cycle. My strength gains and size have not decreased at all! .................. But I'm growing cannons so i should cut it out

Are you talking about your recovery cycle? If you aren't, then use a strong anti-aromatase med during your cycle instead (aromasin, femara, armidex). If you are experiencing estrogen rebound upon completion of your recovery cycle, then stay on Nolvadex longer. You really need to be more specific.

My last injection was 8 weeks ago consisting of 500mg test/ 500mg eq. I ran 10-15 mg Nolva throughout my cycle. I began post cycle therapy 2 weeks after my last shot, 500 iu's hcg ed, and increased nolva to 40 mg during the time I was using hcg. When I finished the HCg I dropped NOlva down to 20 mg for 2 weeks then down to 10mg up until now which is 8 weeks post cycle. Now I am trying to stop taking Nolva but my nipps are getting sore when I try to drop the nolva.

So I was asking in this post if taking Arimidex would help lower my estrogen levels and prevent estrogen rebound, even after the arimidex is stopped.

At this point, time will help lower your estrogen levels. Your liver and kidneys are working hard to rid the body of the excess estrogen. None fo the antiaromatases will work for you, for the estrogen is already free in the bloodstream. Stay on 20mg Nolvadex daily for another month and see. Next time, take precautions. Use an anti aromatase like aromasin, femara, or arimidex DURING your cycle and limit nolvadex use to recovery.
