Is a can a V8 good in replacing...

not to mention the sodium in a V8 is ridiculous. My rule of thumb has always been to keep it as close to nature as possible

How bad is sodium for you and what are its effects

I love drinking tomato juice, but not the kind from the stores. I get them from my garden, juice the tomatoes and can it myself. I prefer beefsteak tomatoes because the flavor is a bit better to me and I don't have to add salt. That may not be practical to alot of you guys, but if you have room for container gardens on your deck, that might be a possibility or just hit the farmer's markets for your tomatoes.

Yes. There are three types of V-8. One is the regular, another is hot and spicy, and there is a low-sodium one as well. I've seen them at Kroger and most grocery stores.

I know the v8 has a lot of sodium...but damn its good!

I don't make a habit of it, but I enjoy a glass of it every now and then
