Hi Guys,
I took a good injury to my upper back/neck about 15 years ago. It was never much of a problem until I reaggravated it a year ago on the lat pulldowns apparently from having the neck too far forward. The problem is mostly the upper middle back where the left scap approaches the spine.
Now, the upper middle back, neck, jaw, head, arms, fingers, etc are all tight as a drum and I've lost what looks like a lot of muscle from the rhomboid region.
Any suggestions on how to feed this area, to gently work it back to health? I can even gear up if I have to, if anyone thinks it will help regrow the muscle faster. Targetted exercises...? etc.
Is there a point of atrophy beyond which rehab is futile? I hope not.
Thanks in advance,
BreezeKeeper
