Injection gone wrong

Pinned on Sunday 400mg of test, didn't hurt on Monday but has gotten progressively worse since then. Injection site is red and swollen and warm to the touch. My quad is slightly swollen all the way down to my knee. What I do for a living requires A LOT of physical activity, so I can't really be limping around all day. This morning it was even difficult to put socks and shoes on. Thanks to anyone who reads and replies as all the help I can get is needed

Def wouldnt be a bad idea to have your Dr take a look.

Sounds like basic tissue infection.

Hope everything works out for ya.

I've never told my doc that I juice I'm assuming it's not a big deal? But thanks I'll update on what happens

Could be an abcess i got one in my arm and had to get it drained. They just suck it out with a needle

Sounds like my first injection. If this was your first time, it's probably just virgin muscle pip. I couldn't walk for a week, and I landscape... This is why I don't inject quads.

Just an update, I won't be able to see a doc till Monday. Yesterday I took an 800 mg of ibuprofen and I'm not sure if it was adrenaline or what but I had little to zero pain while working. I only had a 3 hour shift but the leg barely bothered. I could almost feel liquid moving around in there so I'm thinking this means it may be infected? Puss maybe? Also about an inch and a half down my leg from the injection site there's a divot or hole in my leg not really sure what this means. The pain is not as bad as yesterday. Although I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and could not fall asleep for 20 mins or so because it was so painful. However I woke up after that and felt ok. Suggestions?

If its not infected and just pip from virgin muscle, ibuprofen will help. I wouldn't take 800mg though - its pretty hard on the stomach. 400mg should be fine. One concern I would have taken ibuprofen is that if it is in fact infected ibuprofen may reduce your temperature if you have a fever, masking the real problem.
