I understand this but having everything tested would not be time/cost effective. I guess the best way is to find a sourse you trust and stick with them. I have no idea where a beginner would start.

do your research, I was many times advised on gear which came out junk, it is just guess work asking on forums around

lab testing is expensive but there are cheaper ways just do some google seach how
