Mr X...
I've been using paypal since 98 and I have never been scammed by paypal.
I have had accountants call me on my cell phone from people who have sold items that they did not have after I posted the guys personal information and my case on the authorities web site...

People who get scammed by paypal don't know how to use the system

Hey that's good to hear you weren't scammed. For 5 not scammed by paypal, there are 2 that were. Go read: www.paypalsucks.com
and the horror stories.

Paypal routinely freezes accounts without warning and holds money that doesn't belond to them. The already lost a lawsuit in regards to this, so it's not a "theory" it's been proven.

Interesting Dick Cheney shoots a lawyer and everyone cheers. When a lawyer get you money then people cheer then too...

Dude , I have worked in ebusiness. I know for a fact that comapnies such as Kodak have business with third parties who do electronic debiting for Kodak customers. These things happen all the time. When you work with folks who have wrong email addresses and mistyped account numbers and routing numbers and so on , these type things happen. This is the reason why have perl or python or other programming languages are used to "script" transactions to the bank so that human errors do not occur. It doesn't matter if it's Paypal or joe blow IT company in Denver. Some banks are more modern then others. Bank of America for instance has an IT staff, databases and applications which validate these type of transactions before they happen.

Paypal isn't the problem
