I feel kinda shitty, i got what seems to be a respiratory infection, oddly, i have an easy time breathing, but my lungs in general feel bad, and i got a semi sore throat, etc. Today's back and bi day including deadlifts. Should I skip the rest of the week, or worp through it? I'm always thinking that working through it will boost my metabolism and speed recovery of this cold up.

Strenuous excercises makes it much harder for your body to fight whatever infection you have. Your best chance to fight it off is to rest as much as possible. Best not to go for a day or two. See how you feel.

REST IS FOR THE WEAK.

doing a light training sometimes makes me feel better if im sick.

other times i want to die.

read your body....

i recomend resting......or even active rest. like walking.

i guess its different for me......cause i live near a lake and a park area/forest.

i always find that theraputic.......and i feel like i havent wasted a day.

You're the only one that knows your body. If you think you can work out, do it, if not then don't strain your body, go ahead and rest.

I had pneumonia about 2 months ago and I drug myself through my workouts. Oh boy, talk about hacking and sneezing and blowing my nose ALLLL the time after that. I pushed my body too hard. Needless to say, I knew I shouldn't and I did. If felt so shitty after that.

If you feel like you only have about 45minutes to live...and your workout takes an hour...may be better to skip it...or do circuit training.

LIFT MAN!!! Every day you rest is one day that you will never get back. Besides how many great athletes have crawled out of bed, too sick, but they went out and put on an amazing performance. MJ did it a couple of times. I wouldnt say that I like to train when I am ill....but I do notice that it makes me concentrate harder...more focus.

DOWATCHALIKE....Just my cents
