I'm Back! Look Out!

I was going to work on that exact method this weekend. Sort of like "floating" across the floor. Bergmann is really good at it too.

I have to say that I find strongman much more challenging than PLing. People don't realize just how technical the events really are. I know that I didn't. It will also show you in a real hurry where your weak spots are. I can honestly say I was really good at the big three lifts, but when I went SM I found out that in reality I was not only a pussy, but stupid as hell too.

I'm glad you'll be there. It's going to be nice to have someone there other than my wife that I know - especially another competitor. I'm glad you're still with the young guys and not up with us at the adult diaper (masters) division.

Do you prefer Elite or Jack Tack so I know what to bring. ;)

Yeah I got my ass handed to me by a 240lb stone in my first comp. Whereas last time I got to do the stones I nearly killed one of the spotters by overshooting the 330lb stone(had to reach out and grab it before it hit him)lol.

It's always good to know people at the comp especially when tacky is involved(i'll bring the WD-40). Never tried the Jack Tack but the elite works well and the old original rheband stuff was great.

I actually like using WD-40, gets the job done then acts like mechanics cologne.:D

That is hard to beat. Dissolve-It leaves you with that wonderful citrus aroma. But I like smelling more like I was just working on a tractor rather than peeling oranges.

BTW, I really worked on your "hips" suggestion for the yoke yesterday. Between that, and using a good running shoe instead of Chuck Taylors made a huge difference. I flew (well sort of) across the ground, my knees were more stable, and my IT band didn't feel like it was shearing off.

Now to work out the kinks on the keg press. That is not an even I have done before. Odd objects, a stone, etc, but never a keg. It is a different press, that's for sure. It sure tests your core stability - more than any other press I have done.
