That is utterly ridiculous. They're working on a ban in California too, for those who live there.

Well you should all come to australia.

ephidrine is not avaliable in any form.
to get it on the black market is more expensive than clen (well where i live anyway)

This makes me mad, it was the same when they wanted to ban Creatine over here. Some kid has no idea about what or why he is taking it, or what it does to his body, but then pushes his body to the limit, doesn’t eat, gets dehydrated, probably uses a sweat suit to make a weight class, and uses the “more is better” theory for dosing.
I notice the deaths in the story posted by Heavywear refer to death by heat stroke, not directly by the substance taken. Steps may need to be taken to avoid abuse by the ill informed, but why do authorities continually have to take away the freedom of choice for informed users?

when the laws are voted on by the uniformed and moronic masses out there who don't understand anything about biochemistry, yet they vote upon things they can never truly understand.

I agree lord, its a good way to weed out the stupid.
I personally will not take it because of history of heart problems in my family. I have a murmor myself and am personally afraid of it.
I also dont smoke pot (anymore) but think it is perfectly ok to be a legal substance. I also have researched the uses of hemp and it really needs to be grown here.
You can get the same amount of paper from 1 acre of hemp as you can from 7 acres of pine trees, and the hemp grows back anually. Imagine how many trees you could save.
I havent researched ephedra to the same extreme, but I have the same opinion of it. Let the people decide if they want to take it. I personally cant stand victimless crimes.

I hate it when ridiculous things like this happens. Just cuz 1 person doesn't know how to use it doesn't mean that everyone else has to suffer.
Seriously...those deaths that the FDA used as a case against ephedrine, they couldn't even establish ephedrine as clear cause of death.
Like one kid, they found him with his head in a trash bag. Immediately the autopsy report blames ephedrine for the death. Nobody thought to say "Hmm, head in a trash bag? Maybe he suffocated!"
Basically it's a knee-jerk campaign to kill the drug. Nobody's actually informed.

Well, politicians represent their constituents. Think of how stupid the average person is...half of the world is dumber than that!
They're basically doing it so that random soccer mom can go "Good, stop all the deaths. Who ever said that government didn't do anything?"
