If your not sore the day after your workout........

A lot of times it depends on the person, some people dont get sore as often as others. Just because your not sore doesnt mean you didnt get anything out of your workout.

i really feel soreness about 36 hours after the lift..I only get sore these days when i exercise a body part that I haven't attacked for awhile..say after a week layoff

Almost all body parts, with the exception of biceps feel sore if I work hard enough. Unless of course Im on cycle, where my recovery seems to occur overnight:D

When I was natural...I was training my ass off, sore for at least 2-3 days after the workout.

I stayed at about 175lbs and my lifts never really improved. I backed off and trained close to failure, really cycled my intensity and soreness and in a year I went up to 205 lbs all natural.

Getting sore does not indicate muscle growth. You don't need to get sore and in fact many say its counterproductive. You may be overtraining. I've read a lot about that kind and that's what many experts say. It sucks and its counter intuitive but it looks like thats the way it is.
